it's more of... i know i'm going to win at this point, so let's do it as fast as possible. plus, i screwed up that 1 block placement with 4-5 left, which made the tower unstable... so going fast is a good idea.

Hey man. Impressive, but you need to stack them on one line at the very end to achieve max height. It will be unstable in the long run, but you get like 70 extra height points from a last-few-bricks free for all. I've gotten 628 on that game with that last shot. When you have like 10 bricks left, stack them on top of each other at normally precarious placements, but get them stacked quick enough, keep it stable enough for the last few points.

the goal of this video was to use all 99 pieces without losing any, as that is the req for the Imp badge on Kongregate... i wasn't trying for height. i have another video showing me getting 600+, which is the req for the Hard badge on Kongregate.

The trick is to cover all vertical seams, so you do not make "mini-towers", which are highly unstable.

it's about the strategy. this badge isn't that tough to get if you understand the physics and the engineering that is used in the game. try reading some of my other comments for more. but, yea...  the video is to show strategy.

Your tower barely swayed at all. Mine always sways when I get to around 200ft high. Why? Strange.

has to do with vertical seams... you need to lay your bricks like actual bricks, not just like tetris pieces. there is a strong structural component to building a solid tower.
