From Obama’s speech in San Francisco:

"You go into these small towns in Pennsylvania and, like a lot of small towns in the Midwest, the jobs have been gone now for 25 years and nothing's replaced them," he said.

"And it's not surprising, then, they get bitter, they cling to guns or religion or antipathy to people who aren't like them or anti-immigrant sentiment or anti-trade sentiment as a way to explain their frustrations,"

  • @bootylicification That's human psychology and if you actually research that subject you would find that he hit the nail on the head. People have been doing that same thing for all of humanity, and what he said wasn't radical until someone else said it was.

From Obama’s Dreams of My Father: ; 'It remained necessary to prove which side you were on, to show your loyalty to the black masses, to strike out and name names.'

From Obama’s Dreams of My Father:

I never emulate white men and brown men whose fates didn't speak to my own. It was into my father's image, the black man, son of Africa, that I'd packed all the attributes I sought in myself, the attributes of Martin and Malcolm, Dubois and Mandela.'

  • 1 /4 Obama’s Anti-American sentiment.

From Obama’s Dreams of My Father: 'I ceased to advertise my mother's race at the age of 12 or 13, when I began to suspect that by doing so I was ingratiating> myself to whites.'

    .

From Obama’s Dreams of My Father: 'I found a solace in nursing a pervasive sense of grievance and animosity against my mothers race.'

From Obama’s Dreams of My Father: 'There was something about him that made me wary, a little too sure of himself, maybe. And white.'

  • race relations got alot worse under Obama. 2 more years left====

"For yet seven days, and I will cause it to rain upon the earth forty days and forty nights; and every living substance that I have made will I destroy from off the face of the earth."

"But know this, that if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up.Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh."

"Even so, come, Lord Jesus." Amen

  • start going to school, freak

  • Are you racist?

  • johnmoriel.....we dont need you....jz poof...oust

  • You americans are stupid people...you don't know what you want in life! hehehe! i'm glad I'm not a US citizen!!!hehehe

  • with all due respect mr. johnmoriel, and from all American citizens I tell you to go FUCK yourself.

  • Among the American citizens stands also non-American citizens who cheers to zmyals saying "go fuck yourself"

  • You conservative idiots need to stop thinking about yourselves as if you're better than anyone else in this world. I think it's sad that people like you could be so ignorant. If you haven't lived it don't judge people who have. How could you think you know all about something you've never experienced before? You people amaze me.

  • First of all, you sound pretty uuneducated calling us niggers. Second of all, If you look back in historty, you will see that it is the white man's fault that BLACK PEOPLE have the status that they do today. Barack Obama is amazing and you are ignorant. Try googling 'regimento, and you will see what I mean.

  • That is the most racist thing I've ever read and the false you stupid jag off

  • OMG what an effing idiot while the country was falling apart from an economic crisis this idiot was focusing on racism!!! This idiot has no idea what the most important issues are in America! Its the Economy stupid, it is now and it was when you gave this stupid archaic speech that MLK already did 40 years ago. Ah ha hahahhah ahah

  • @funnyhaha07 This speech was given in the spring of 2008 or around that time during the democratic primary run. The financial meltdown didn't happen until the fall so at this point health care would have been the number one topic not the economy. Psh...it's funny how people forget history, even when it was only three years ago.

  • ok thanks obama! so when are we going hear the black guy running for office speak!?huh!?

  • obama give a verry verry good speech

  • Yes, Obama MEETS the bridge America has been waiting for...Looking over Black Shoulders

  • this number one for obama is about the economical pressure please click on vicegrip88 to see the video

  • Hello Im Barak Obam, I get off on hearing the sound of my own voice. blah, blah, blah, blah

This Hillary voter is not voting for the democratic party, Im voting for the best candidate for the job and the best man for the job happens to be a woman.

  • ya and like obama said he will have her in office with him and he will defintly take her ideas. And by the way if your not voting you dont fucking care about the country fuck she said vote for obama...so she doesnt know what she is talking about? Yes a woman can do the job but shit there is no woman running now. Palin is man at heart hunting animals and hating woman. SO JUST HELP THE COUNTRY AND STOP BEING A FUCKING BABY.

  • MORE WORDS,,,THIS TIME COPIED FROM MLK !

    PLAGIARIST !! What a fake !

His "glorious and historic " 3/18/08 SPEECH is NOT Obama's work, but MESMERIZED, again YOUNGER VOTERS!

    SEARCH:

They think USA is STUPID! Master spinners!

  • I made the search. I'm not convinced you have fully grasped an understanding of what plagiarism means. Both men carry a similar message, although Obama's is more up to date. You need stronger arguments based on truth and evidence, otherwise it just makes you appear to have an agenda that supercedes your knowledge, and diminishes your credibility.

I do suggest that people conduct the search for themselves.

    SEARCH:

Obama King Parallel - Dream of a More Perfect Union

  • Yea, the parallels in a speech between a presidential candidate and Martin Luthor King... That'll make me want to vote for McCain...

  • He is trying to unite the nation, not divide it, he spoke of both white and black points of view. If you only try to understand one side and not the other you will only create war. Also he had to address race at that time anyway because of the reverend's comments being all over the news. Yes the economy is extremely important but a great president addresses many issues like education and health care etc and Obama has spoken about the economy far more than race anyway throughout his campaign.

  • Thank you. That is exactly how I feel, u took the words right out of my mouth.

  • That's ignorant as hell. Who cares what his name is? If you are going to oppose him, do it on an intellectual level.

For example, I oppose him because he advocates taxing GDP at .7% to give money to the UN to "fight global poverty." This, of course, is socialist, anti-liberty, nonsense. Global Poverty Act (S.2433)

I also oppose him because of his foreign policy advisors, such as zbigniew brzezinski .

    Look him up.

  • Wait...If he's Muslim, how can he have a pastor?

  • I am still pondering what is so historic about it in the sense that his description of a typical white person is so off, and his excuse for the racist pastor's messages is double standard.

  • Its amazing how Canned, Polished, Slick, Robotic and Fake Obama is when he speaks...its all fluff and Sugary candy coated phrases with No substance behind them, Especially from the absolute Purely Political Puppet uttering them.

AMAZING, most People are Hypnotized by this Fraud . This Man is the Classical 'Empty Suit' , Lightweight . Every speech of his purely saturated with Emotion, but no intellectual substance. He speaks to us as if we were all in 7th Grade, its pathetic

  • watch?v=8moHr653RvU

  • What the hell is up with all the American Flags? I'm so tired of the jingoistic nationalism in this country.

  • its not nationalism- Nationalism is EXTREME pride for ones country. Showing a flag isnt extreme. Nationalism would be him wearing a red white and blue suit with flags and screaming out I LOVE AMERICA and things like that.

  • showing "A" (one) flag isnt' extreme. But 4? That's a little extreme.

  • After 8 years of disastrous Coke head Policy,we are trying to embark, in an even more perilous road ( Seems we never learn), a Crack head politician with a messianic complex. People if he succeeds, you better consider yourselves royally fucked.

  • PHOTO SHOWS BILL CLINTON WITH REV. WRIGHT:

Mr. Wright was one of 130 religious leaders who attended the 1998 White House prayer breakfast. He later received a thank-you note from former President Clinton.

Is this evidence of a relationship between Clinton and Wright? No, but the photo demonstrates Wright was not considered a lunatic fringe preacher, but a prominent religious leader. Bill Clinton clearly thought Rev. Wright acceptable enough to be invited to the White House.

  • OBAMA IS AS MUCH WHITE AS BLACK!

  • It's apparent that most of the negative comments aimed at Obama are not really from young, ordinary citizens. The rhetoric is so repetitive and orchestrative that it has to be coming from some interested parties with some strong, organized political ties with one purpose in mind. I know that you don't speak for black or white America. You still don't get it. We want a fair election and We can think for ourselves.

  • OBAMA, HILLARY, MCCAIN all CFR members. There is much we can do! McCain is not a final nomination he is considered perspective winner-no one has sewn-up nomination until the GOP go to Convention. Some delegates are bound some are not yet bound. In Alaska RP gets 5 and McCain 3. As a Nation we will still need to pick up the pieces. Don't lose hope. This is real. RP voters and delegates are committed. Spread the word. Go to Ron Paul's web page and see daily blog.

  • such a well written speech...written by someone else...thats all he has is speeches he didnt even write. He has no actions, just speeches...written by someone else.

  • Do you think any of them write their own speeches? The difference here is that Obama had the guts to actually speak it, to make a speech that actually sends a message to the american people, instead of some repetitive bullshit that 8 out of 10 focus groups agree offend no one.

  • Had the guts? He had no choice. He HAD TO address it. The problem I have with him is that he stayed with this church this long. He has poor judgement. Didn't he think there was anything wrong with the anti American Wrights lectures from the pulpit? He should have distanced himself from wright years ago, once he decided he was going to run for President. We can't have a guy with bad judgement lead the most powerful nation in the world!!!

  • I agree. He is an eloquent speaker but has absolutely no DETAIL on how he is going to deliver. His campaign is based on CHANGE. Well how are we going to get there BARACK? What does his grandmother think of him? That "typical white woman"?

  • Ignorance is fear, blind following is a folly. Stop nieghsaying and find yourself instead of clinging to facts that make you look smarter than someone else. lose your ego. Look at the other candidates and the people behind them. Who do you really want leading this country? We are on the virge of collapse as it is, we need idealism, not practicality. We need change not suggestion. I'm not supporting anyone, just think be original for once and rise above pointing fingers and slinging facts.

  • He has very good speech writers.

  • FRAUD!!!!!

  • Obama requested $8 million in funding for "High Explosive Air Burst Technology" made by General Dynamics, a military contractor with close ties to a major fundraiser.

Obama's Illinois Finance Chairman, billionaire James S. Crown, a longtime Obama supporter who has raised at least $200,000 for his presidential campaign, is a director of General Dynamics, and his family has a large investment in the company. The request ultimately resulted in $1.3 million in funding for the project.

  • Obama says his grandmother made racist remarks and feared blacks then in th e next breath he says she is like the typical white person

  • Also, I would bet that a lot of you haven't even watched this speech. I hear a lot of ripping Obama but nothing about his speech...most likely because too many of you are so stubborn as to even watch him out of fear or because you just refuse to like Obama for any reason. At least watch the speech and then form your opinions. All people want to do is make outrageous claims. If you're trying to win an election, at least be honest about what's really going on.

  • He's being a hell of a lot more honest and objective than most people are willing to be about race. He didn't endorse anything in the speech and he's not "uniting blacks against their white oppressors. If you cut out the bogus claims, you guys have nothing.

  • You all win the ignorance award for the year. Obama is probably the most diplomatic candidate that's ran for the presidency in quite awhile. The stuff you guys are saying is just so f'n ridiculous :) This speech was fantastic and it's not a racist speech by any means.

  • Barack Obama's endorsement the Black Panter Party. If you heard Rev. Jeremiah Wright teaching Trinity United Church of Christ has a Black Value system that is reminiscent of the 10-point programs of the Black Panter Party. The Media has to investigate and talk about and inform us.

  • This black liberation theology that brother J. Wright preaches is mired in Marxist revolutionary principles. This is a political movement that is attempting to unite blacks in a revolutionary way against the "white oppressors". I believe they have allied with the NOI and possibly some elements of radical Islam.

  • I can't vote for someone who voted NO on repealing huge tax breaks to Bushes buddies on Wall Street, and to large oil companies. If you followed your politics this was the very first bill that the democrats threatened to pass once they took over congress. Nancy Pelosi said she was going to personally make sure these tax breaks were repealed. Obama voted NO, and Hillary of course voted YES. Obama is one and the same as most politicians...just good at delivering speeches. Hillary is the real deal

  • clearly ur not a freethinker. freethinkers coexist with ideas that they disagree with, seek to understand motives on the other side of the divide, & share their own ideas on the subject of contention - understand the motives and logic of those holding opposing viewpoints, acknowledging their humanity & their good-will (if only from their narrow & misguided viewpoint), & attempt a healthy collective synthesis in such a way that both sides feel respected. anything less just echoes hate.

    peace!

  • I am a free THINKER. I don't see a big conspiracy in this. I see that Obama refuses to cut ties with a pastor who preached hate. I add that to the fact that his young daughters were exposed to that speech. Add to that what Michelle said about America and the fact that he refuses to honor the flag and what he said about his Grandmother who clearly loves him. It equals someone I just can't believe or vote for.

  • I know what you mean ;-)

  • so what, so did hilter but I would never vote for him either

  • another democrat racist comercial with the daughter of a black man murdered in Texas that blamed bush because he did not pass hate crime law. When in fact the 3 men involved 1 got life without porole and 2 got the death pently. So how much more could they get with a hate crime law.

  • He should have presented us a pathway out of our racial boxes and a road map for new thinking about race. He should have depicted his minister, the Rev. Jeremiah A. Wright Jr., as a symbol of the dysfunctional angry men who are stuck in the past and who must yield to a new generation of color-blind, hopeful Americans and to a new global economy in which we will look on our neighbors' skin color no differently than how we look on their eye color.

  • liberals are great at using race in 2000 ran a comercial that said if bush is elected he would appoint supreme court judges that would bring back the 3/5th rule. Now I know that it would take a cont admenment to do but does the avg person. thats about as racist as it gets to play on someones fear with an outright lie.

  • The "problem of logic" is evident in the offense you obviously take to the truth. Why is it uncouth and a verbal assault when it is 100 percent true. It may not have been easy to stomach but none the less true. Anyway, Barack didn't say it. Period! Does everything your spiritual advisor says represent how you feel? It's time we take good, long, look in the mirror. We are contributing to our own demise! That's what's sad!

  • Your own hero Barack said it was wrong and deplorable, so go argue with him.

  • Beautiful civil rights speech ....but he has poor judgement and did not take action to make a change in his church about the statements made about anti-america, anti-white etc.. When I listen to his speeches I hear him complain about the problems we have as Americans and no clear way to solve them. Just words...

Rezko as a friend, and Rev. Wright as a mentor. America needs to wake up we are not buying a used car from a super saleman, we are hiring a President.

  • I bet most of you don't even know what it was that Rev. Jeremiah Wright said, or what context he put it in. Stop listening to the soundbites the media puts together and actually do some research.

  • It really doesn't matter in what context the Rev. said GOD DAMN AMERICA 4 times. or in what context He said that we deserved 9/11 the fact that he said said it is enough to think he has no place as the spiritual adviser to a political campaign. And the Fact that a Man with the hopes to be president of the very country the Rev. Damned to Hell dedicated a book to him and calls him family and spiritual saviour is very scary! too scary to vote for!

  • Amen to that!

  • Sen. Obama represents "hope". Hope for all of us whatever our skin complextion. For the people of this country who call themselves "Americans", at this time in our history, in order to be truly "American" we must stand together. America will not survive if we continue this petty bickering. We should be bigger than this by now.

  • He has no answers he simply says what people want to hear it has no other meaning than as a ploy to get elected it sounds good and happy. Its a sad thought but there is no happy way out if the trouble the world faces. Hard decidions must be made and I just don't think Obama can make them.

  • Life's a bitch and you die I guess, misery guts.

Some of us like to think things can get better, shame on us for being hopeful. With the bitter, dirty negative politics winning, America shows itself to be unfit to lead the world.

  • Obama is a true political player not the second coming the words he uses are chosen for effect . The facts are that he has no real practical plans to do as he says! His speeches are pretty words but that's all. I will admit the man has really good speech writer and he delivers them well.Too bad they are empty.

  • While he is saying "what people want to hear", he offers hope. Tell me, do you embrace some "false" comfort in a nation divided? What life is worth living if it is void of hope. Isn't that what this is all about? The possibilities of a better tomorrow for "all" of us. Harriet Tubman once said, "I freed thousands of slaves and would have freed thousands more if only they knew they were slaves!" Are you a slave? Are you a slave to the lies and misdirection of your own government?

  • Barack kept it 100....

  • Obama's message is pretty simple "You cannot fix what you will not face"

  • just as he will not face the fact that his spiritual adviser is a hateful divider of people

  • Like Obama said, Sunday morning is a hateful divider of people in general.

This is Based on 4 minutes out of 30 years of preaching... and it's very funny, the whole timing of it. What the hell do you want Obama to do about Wright - I've got older relatives who say stuff not too dissimilar to what Wright said, and I don't agree with them. Or am I guilty as well ?

  • Beautiful civil rights speech ....but he has poor judgement and did not take action to make a change in his church about the statements made about anti-america, anti-white etc.. When I listen to his speeches I hear him complain about the problems we have as Americans and no clear way to solve them. Just words...

Rezko as a friend, and Rev. Wright as a mentor. America needs to wake up we are not buying a used car from a super saleman, we are hiring a President.

  • I don't think he is Muslim either. But his father was Muslim and in Islam they consider him muslim and anyone that forsakes or changes to another from Islam is under a renouce or die fatwa. Thats how they look at it. So you will have to take that up with them.

  • Even if his father is muslim, don't you think the more important question is what Obama considers himself to be? This is america, we don't judge people by the choices their fathers make (or maybe right wingers do?)

  • I told you I don't think he is muslim BUT MUSLIMS WILL. So you should ask what they think and say about it

  • Actually, none of the muslims I know think he is muslim. You really need to stop making stuff up!!!

  • and just how many muslims do you know? and maybe you should read about muslims condemed to death for converting. You see I don't belive in organized religion to easy for men to screw it up for thier own reasons such as the good rev wright, and any others that preach hate for anyone.

  • Well, educate yourself before you generalize. I am yet to hear of anyone condeming Obama to death for his christian faith.

  • give the muslims time they will

  • So we should not vote for him because some muslims are upset that he is christian? Are you even listening to yourself?

  • not at all but don't be surprised if they try and kill him.

  • What do you mean?

  • Obama. "SHOW ME WHO YOUR FRIENDS ARE AND I WILL SHOW YOU WHO YOU ARE".

Obama's church of choice and their stated loyalty is to AFRICA!

    Remember that when you vote!

God Damn Obama and God Damn Pastor Wright!

  • So True!

  • Thank you. Your 100% right. I was always told that you can indeed Judge a person by their company. Obama keeps BAD company and has a poor choice of friends and advisers.

  • I've read posts of support and dissent at this vid forum. Some have been intelligent, some vulgar and ignorant.

That's 'free speech'! A right that all Americans (black, white, whatever) have, and should be a cherished.

"The greatest threat to freedom is the absence of criticism."

    Wole Soyinka

Nigerian playwright, poet, and political activist (1934-)

At BarakObamadotcom vids, you can only post praises for him...no criticism!

    That's 'free speeches'

    What's up with that?

  • There is already more than enough criticism of Obama; he is now the target of both the Clinton and McCain campaigns. I wonder why...

  • Infinity161 Your right! Ditto

  • what an idiot

  • OBAMA IS FINISHED.

  • Obama is associated, connected, and friend to too many controversial individuals which tells you alot about Obama the man. Malik Zulu Shabazz the chairman of the Black Panther Party which hates Whites and Jews,is a registered blogger at the MyObama "Official' website and endorses Obama. We now have Obama, Reverend Wright, Louis Farrakhan, and Malik Zulu Shabazz in the picture. This tells me to stay clear of Obama. There are too many negatives about this man.

  • Obama's poll numbers are going way down. He is finished. Racist supporters shouldn't be running for president. And Obama is just that. And you didn't mention Meeks.

  • Interesting logic. So I guess Parsley and Hagee who called the catholic church the "whore of babylon" suppporting McCain means we should "stay clear" him. I'm not sure where you live, but THIS IS AMERICA! You don't cherry pick who supports you. Judge the man by HIS words and HIS deeds, which are out there for those who have eyes to see. If you disagree withhim on the issues, fine with me, but this moronic Obama-hating is laughable!!!

  • this is an easy question that you already know the answer to. McCain does not attend Parsley or Hagee's church and never has.

  • I do judge him by his words he lied about hearing hate speech from this pastor. Then in this speech said that he had indeed heard things he disargeed with which is true? If you saw someone you knew talking and sitting and claiming a family like friendship with a Klansmen then you would think differently about your friend. Why not about your presidentual candidate?

  • "Hate speech" and "things he disagreed with" really are different. It doesn't take rocket science to see that. He admits to hearing controversial comments, but his travel records verify he was not in church when the "hate speech" was uttered. You blatantly distort Obama's words and then accuse him of lying. Typical right-wing hypocrisy; if it weren't so pathetic I'd be laughing!

  • well I guess you only got that part right Obama gave a speach in Portland and admitted to hearing hate speach in church sitting in the pew and guess what did not do a thing

  • He's ignorant! There is more to being a President than giving good speeches! Alot more. This whole thing is not about RACE! He missed the whole damn point! Its about HATE! Race has nothing to do with this! Listen to his pastor of 20 years! Its hate! not race!

  • gain some perspective on racial issues in the south back in the day..maybe you'll understand where some of his former pastors anger came from

  • Dwashington28 you are so right. Sad that so many are listening to Obama's rhetoric, and not looking at the man. His actions speak louder than his words. He is a racist pure and simple.

  • You are a moron.

  • EATS OBAMA ONLY KOUS KOUS????

  • He turned criticism against his 20 year serving belief into criticism of us as a nation. If you would look back at past years videos you will find his early campaign speeches have been 'protect Israel' and 'democracy towards a new world order', This sounds alot like Bush actually. His budget plan is going to wreck us, there will never be an established middle class after Bush leaves (If he does, last year he signed his own act giving him total authority after a loosely termed 'national crisis')

  • Obama 08

  • have you heard all his preacher's statements??? jesus... aids is a white conspiracy against black people???? omg. is he retarded? obama's speech was beautiful, it made me cry... but then i looked more at his preacher's statements... he's apeshit! how can he be an inspiration?

  • Obama is just a CFR stooge like the other candidates...

    Wake up people!!!

  • Given the opposition, Hillary really is the least of the evils. CFR too yes, but Bill still is a half-retarded Ufo enthusiast, its our best chance at disclosure giving him the newly defined seat of 'running mate'.

  • The threat of a North American Union plan is very Real. Its incredible Americans are still in Denial about this.

  • Yes We Can....Increase Welfare

Yes We Can....Lose the War on Terror

Yes We Can....Decrease the amount of your take home pay.

Yes We Can....Stop Killing Terrorist and start killing our own Babies "Partial Birth Abortions"

Yes We Can....Decrease the military, and the security of this country, so that any terrorist that wants to come to the U.S. can come and blow us the hell up.

IS THIS Change you can believe in or Change that scares the Hell out of you

  • Stop falling in love with your candidates. Obama isn't magic, Hillary isn't so experienced, McCain isn't perfect. No matter who we elect the U.S. will have good days and bad days. Good economic times and bad economic times.

(The recent recession isn't even Bush's fault. Research what subprime lending is. Banks made a mistake. They will make mistakes with republicans or democrats in office.)

Stop being so gosh darn naive....

  • He's focusing on the disparity between blacks and whites/poor and rich. He's saying that there should be equal pay for equal work like the law requires but doesn't enforce. He's not a racist. he wants to improve the opportunities of the under privelaged

  • I like that equal pay for equal work I say any ceo that can hire women for 75% of the men is not too brite if he does not hire only women. And if you want to get it right then and improve the opportunities of the under privelaged then no affirmitive action based on race only on how poor you are I am ok with that but I doubt the liberals are.

  • I agree... we shouldn't have affirmative action based on race alone.

  • tell the University of Michigan that

  • gismo: affirmative action is about the continuous humiliation and devastation of the black race, that's way it is about race and not about socioeconomic stuff. it's about aggressively promoting the interests of blacks in order to give them a chance to perform in a world that conspires to exclude them.

  • the only thing holding the black race back is the democrats telling them every single day they are victoms and can not suceed without thier help. AS a Republican I would like everyone to suceed and I don't care what color you are. Its not the Republicans that keep the black man down it is in fact democrats.

  • I was fortunate to have educated parents good schools. If you don't understand the damage that centuries of slavery, racism, forced illitracy, economic disfranchisement, inferior schools, deprivation of higher education, etc etc can do to a people, then you are either in denial, ignorant, misinformed about american history, disingenuous, or some combination of the above. And when folks like JW try and rally blacks to solve their problems, they are labelled as separatist and racist.

  • lets see most urban inner city schools run by liberal democrats for the last 50 years. IF forced illitracy and inferior schools we know whom to blame

  • in fact lets look at how all black republicans are treated, by so called black leaders, they are call uncle toms house niggers or just labeled a sell out to thier race. When in fact they are just conserveitives. what nice thing has ever been said about Condi Rice one of the smartest women in the world, by so called black leaders

  • Amazing how a white male portrays himself as an authority on african american experience and thought. Most blacks I know admire Condi, though they may disagree with her views. Surprise, surprise, blacks are not one monolithic group that think, act, and vote alike. And now we have a black leader trying to reach out to all, but he is immediately savaged by you right wingers. If you are republican, why not emulate McCain who has refused to indulge in personal attacks?

  • I'll be nice and ask you again name one black leader that has said a nice thing about Condi Rice, Thomas, Steel, or any other conservitive black. You can't and you Know it, as for voting alike try last election about 90% voted democrat 2000 88% in 2004 so maybe you might want to get your facts straight before you open your mouth

  • Obama Wright 08

  • the good rev never had tuskegee done to him

    ------

The point would be anyone who comes from a race which the government did Tuskegee and other institutional racism upon for years might see a pattern, and distrust government.

  • David Duke never had to fight the civil rights movement. Duke never had Tuskegee done to him. Duke never had to drink from different water fountains. The sound bites of the preacher are his "worst hits," not his life story. And BTW, an intellectual should be surrounded by all voices (yes, some radical), that's what our founders did.

  • I see as long as you are a left wing nutcase it does not matter what stupid shit comes out of your mouth everyone should just ignore the dumbass crap. after all you really mean well but it was all that segeration you had to put up with. Maybe you should check your facts

  • 1959, Wright entered Virginia Union University, a historically black university, but became disenchanted and left in 1961.[3] He then joined the United States Marine Corps and later transferred to the United States Navy where he worked as a cardiopulmonary technician.[1] Wright then enrolled at Howard University, where he received a bachelor's degree in 1968 and a Master's degree in English in 1969. In 1975, he earned an additional Master's degree from the University of Chicago Divinity School

  • does not look like the good rev had such a tough life

  • the good rev never had tuskegee done to him either and since the good rev wright is from a state penn. that did not have JIM Crow laws I doubt the rev had to drink from different water fountains

  • Lets see, Tuskegee was a govt experiment on black men, that WILLFULLY witheld medical treatment, resulting in the death, not only of the experimental subjects, but their wives and children as well. It was terminated only after public outrage in 1972. And your position is the only blacks allowed to be indignant about this are those experimented on. The rest of us should keep quiet and be grateful we weren't involved, right? Do you realize how ridiculous you sound?

  • I feel so belittled from this mans comments. I will never be the same

  • obama is racist?? you really are lost. Did you live through jim crow? i'd be bitter too. On top of that i could go to any church in america and take snippets of a sermon and make it sound more bigoted.

  • you were'nt going to vote for Obama in the first place, so its no loss. Actually, you're probably better off voting for McCain; there is no way HRC can win the nomination now without destroying the democratic party.

  • historical? what are you a fucking retard?

  • You don't know who l am, how I feel, what I think. And if I tried to explain it the rest of your Life, you would never understand.

You are 40 years older than I am. You and your whole lousy generation... believes the way it was for you is the way it's got to be!

And not until your whole generation has Iain down and died... will the deadweight of you be off our backs! You understand? You've got to get off my back!

    Guess Who's Coming To Dinner - 1967

  • Amen, Sandiegoecho, Amen!!!

  • well I guess the media has failed us again by not reporting the racist comments by JW that Obama quoted in his book. What would the world do without gismotech to find this information for us!

Quoting a person does not imply that you agree with everyword out of his mouth. I'm really getting tired of thinking for you, you'll have to start using your half-brain!

  • the only person you think for is you and not a very good job of it. So I guess it would be ok for David Duke to be John McCains mentor and adviser after all I'm sure John McCains does not agree with everyword out of his mouth

  • Mr Gismotech, I am finally convinced you are a retard! But I appreciate you providing amusement for everyone here. People like you are lazy ass white underachievers, unhappy with their lot in life. So full of bitterness, you look for someone to lash out at. It's obvious Obama's success gets under your skin, but you really have to move on with your life. Probably a good therapist could help you along.

  • dedamol on Mr. Gismotech

how does calling some one a retard, because they disagree with your opinion further the epic race conversation? WWOD (What Would Obama Do)

  • Typical hypocrisy from right wingers; have you read the rhetoric of gismotech towards people who have tried to be civil with him (including me)? And unfortunately, Obama may be too much of a gentleman for american politics. As for me, if you act like an ass, I call you an ass!

  • hate to tell you I am very happy with MY LOT in LIFE. IF you read the studies republicans are more happy and report better mental health than liberals do. Gee I wonder if its because they suffer from emotional problems.

  • Stop lying, you know you are bitter! You can't even disagree/criticize without spewing vitriol and hate. I just hope you seek help before it's too late. And could you give me the reference to the study you cite. It had better be peer reviewed and credible, not from some back-alley publication.

  • Republicans are significantly more likely than Democrats or independents to rate their mental health as excellent, according to data from the last four November Gallup Health and Healthcare polls. Fifty-eight percent of Republicans report having excellent mental health, compared to 43% of independents and 38% of Democrats. no its from thier own mouth.

  • So we have a non randomized mental health study based on self report. Do you know ANYTHING at all about conducting studies???

  • do you understand a poll and when they use more than 4000 people it is less than 2% off

    the mark.

  • You miss the point; I am not talking about margin of error. Using self report for a mental health study is inherently flawed. How many valid and credible scientific studies do you see conducted by polling?

  • But an analysis of the relationship between party identification and self-reported excellent mental health within various categories of age, gender, church attendance, income, education, and other variables shows that the basic pattern persists regardless of these characteristics. In other words, party identification appears to have an independent effect on mental health even when each of these is controlled for.

and many valid and credible scientific studies do use the same methods

  • Give me ONE widely accepted credible, peer reviewed scientific study conducted by polling. And I'm not talking about pilot studies. For a study to be widely accepted in science it must be randomized and controlled. This one was not.

  • gismo: sorry guy, david duke as a white guy resembles in no way jeremiah wright as a black man (duke is not a spiritual man, as far as i know). you're really going to have to wake up and join the human race.

  • you can plug in any white guy you would like, Falwell, robertson, hagee, does not matter the republican would be screwed.

  • well it just goes to show you that I've read far more than you do. Maybe you should find out what someone belives and writes before you fall all over your self to suck up to them. Maybe you start to use your brain even a little bit

  • even a stopped clock is right twice a day. we're still waiting for your two minutes of intelligent contribution, locust.

  • People have a choice: they can come to the table with ears clogged with bias about what they think Obama's own attitudes are, or they can, I don't know, LISTEN and then maybe THINK, and maybe CONSIDER that he PERHAPS has something intelligent to say that just might be, I don't know, relevant and genuine and important and insightful. Ah, but it's so much easier to talk shit. Why'd anyone bother listening to someone when he already knows he disagrees with him? What's the point, right?

  • I see there's a big misunderstanding about Obama's speech. The speech was meant to open discussion about racism in America. He had already denounced Rev Wright's statement on Friday. This speech was an add on to all of the discussion that occurred over the weekend. The divide that began pro and con about racism. So the people that say the speech was only supposed to cover Rev Wright, you are WRONG. It's the future, and how we as a people handle it. That is what the speech was about.

  • bad locust !!

  • Beautiful civil rights speech ....but he has poor judgement and did not take action to make a change in his church about the statements made about anti-am
