  • Australia should just pay to build this ourselves. We have the $2.5 Billion to make this happen and offer security that is not available anywhere else in the world due to our isolation from other nations. Aussie Government - MAKE IT HAPPEN

  • @b2bsales (But share the technology none the less with the rest of the world)

  • @b2bsales If science was the pure reason for choosing the site than Australia would win hands down. Our site is more radio quiet than South Africa and provides an east/west baseline rather than a north/south one. However, it WOULD be cheaper to build in Africa because construction costs are lower.

Instead of pissing away billions rebuilding five star resorts that boat people have burned down the government should step up and ensure we get the SKA.

Still, what would you expect from Julia Dullard?

  • Impressed by the quality of video & sound. I guess this video cost a lot. SA team should hire big-time Hollywood companies to make a better bidding video to match this. But it does not add any real value. Better to spend the money elsewhere.

  • Greetings from Nepal! After having checked and studied the details of Australia's bid for the SKA through your website, I can fully and confidently say that this site will be the perfect host for an optimal performance of the SK Array project.

  • Excellent video it's professional!

  • Gives me goosebumps.

It's so easy to mistake this for sci-fi, but I'm glad that at least this once, an idea on this scale is actually making its way into reality.

P.S. Fingers crossed for the Aussie-Kiwi bid.

  • This is easily the best corporate video presentation of its kind that I have ever seen.

The stunning images of the array, set to such a dynamic and beautiful soundtrack, perfectly complemented the simple yet persuasive argument that Australia is the best site by far to construct this awe-inspiring feat of engineering.

    Well done.
