Hearing Sara sing on these vids, I can understand how some people suspect it's faked or lip-sync'd. It doesn't seem possible a kid this age can sing with a mature woman's voice. If she were to try out for AmIdol, she'd easily make it to the final round. But perhaps it's better for her in the long run to stay away from the meat-grinder of TV pop-star manufacturing. Instant fame has a way of eating people alive. Just take it easy, Sara. You're a quality human being - that's what counts the most.

@9firefly9 I agree Sara is better than many or even most of the AI contestants. However, from what I've seen of it, vocal talent clearly isn't always the top priority at AI. Some have been talented, but from what I've seen of what's on YouTube or even a typical karaoke bar on a given night, there *has* to be better singers auditioning than many of those who actually get on. I imagine Sara will do fine without "reality" TV and being at Simon Cowell's beck and call.

@VocalAdvocate What Sara does so well that many of the AI contestants fall short on is shift gears. If the only thing I'd ever heard her do was any of the styles I've heard her do, I'd assume that was her "strength". Turns out, she does *everything*. Okay, she might not land a lead role at La Scala, but I bet she could do an aria better than Cecilia Bartoli can do pop or blues.
