Curious. How did you keep the red from bleeding thru to the white skull and the blue in the corner.? Love it by the way, your color choices are fantastic!
@susan21869 That Hot pink/reddish color was the layer before the skeleton. I just poured paint on the wood and let it dry over night and came over top with the whites.
@rayford8605 ok, sounds easy enough, just figured it would have showed through or you would have to use so much white that the newspaper transfer would have shown through. That said, I know its bones and newspaper but it is gorgeous!
@cw3849 it's just a 15.00 wood board. It was about an inch thick and 6 feet long. I had it cut to squares and them i used kilz to prime it. the harder/more durable the surface you are transferring to, the cleaner the image will be.
