Ice Age 2=Unimpressive.

In my opinion, the first Ice Age takes the prize for the most original, charming, and satisfying movie in the series. The second and third movies really don't satisfy, due to the recycled humor and loss of originality. Dawn of the Dinosaurs = meh.

I love Ice Age. I'm a 19 year old lover of Sid and Diego, and I'm not ashamed of that. My momma loves Ice Age too, and she watched this, but I didn't. She said it's not that good, like it's... decent, but it's nothing like the amazingness of 1 and 2. So... we were gonna take my brother to see it for his 18th birthday in 2 weeks, but I don't think we'll waste the money. Instead we'll just rent it. I dunno... This was an unabashed, simply enjoyable "family" film - finally! My 7yr.-old son and I thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Some good, simple messages, enjoyable chuckles, and fun 'action.' (His grandfolks took him to Up, so I can't comment on a comparison.) After Transformers, and god-forbid Land of the Lost, a pleasant diversion & relief! See me review it together with my son on the Gab and Dad channel; ("Gab and Max review Ice Age 3").
