Brrrrr! Great scenes! Wind-blown/formed ice can sure be a magical artform.

I grew an ice garden once, when sub-freezing temps came to our desert and I had to leave the hose turned on slightly to prevent the pipes from freezing. The light mist from the spray nozzle floated all over the yard, encasing everything in ice although not quite as severe as some of these pics. Slightly modified movie long: "It should be well protected, if it survived the freezing process". :-)

It's sad about the trees, the branches snap from the weight of the ice. You're right about the magical look, it fascinates me.
