  • awesome man..thanks

  • Play some Sigur Rós, from Sé Lèst or the video relationed on youtube, and it wud be nice!

  • your going to be a world renowned player

  • is this a kelon you're playing on?

  • Dude... guys... this is definitely traditional grip... it looks nothing like burton's grip in this video... Just clarifying that. lol.

  • @drumcorpsgirl1991 yep. traditional.

  • Hmm what grip is that?

  • @TheDaleMail that would be traditional grip.

  • this is wonderful! You are a very talented percussionist! I'm just now working on improving my four-mallet technique, and my high school prefers Burton's grip. Hopefully someday I can be as good aas you! Keep up the good work!

  • gratulálok, nem is tudtam, hogy Te is fellelhető vagy itt :)

  • its traditional grip not burton. look at the index finger and thumb..thats the dead give-away.

  • I made a mariba and it sounds just like that ☺☻☺☻☺☻☺☻☺

  • Damned awsome. I wish i could play like that.

  • I like how you're using Burton's grip on a Musser prelude, haha. Great job.

  • what is this piece? can i pick it up anywhere?

  • i am forever amazed at the sheer range of sounds a marimba can produce

  • nice job

  • nem rosz de en maradok inka ba gitarnal meg a solid breath nel :DD

  • Great work!... may be softer mallets... or may be recording issues... :P is an amaizing piece!... :)

  • Sounds JUST like a Musser. xD

  • What is this piece of music (sounds familiar but I can't place it) and who is the instrumentalist?

  • that is a very beautiful instrument

  • AMAZING WORK!!!!!

Just need some softer mallets K? :)

  • I believe this piece was intended to have a heavier/louder sound, so i like the mallet choice.

  • ooooooooooo......

  • im 12 and i play marimba i play 3 mallets and i am starting on 4 mallets maybe not that song yet but eventually! Good job!

  • speaking of mallets, i'm playing this piece as well. so, what mallets were you using?

  • probably just the angle, but the sharps and flats on the marimba dont look like their raised... but anyway good playing. sort of surprising that u are using the burton's grip on marimba tho but then again if it sounds good, doesnt really matter.

  • Towards the bottom of the screen or the low end of the marimba you can see a few of the accidental keys overlapping showing that they are above the natural keys but yeah it does give an impression of 2-D marimba lol.

  • nice, those musser etudes are difficult. Do you use Musser grip?

  • wait...musser instruments are named after somebody? and there's a grip for it to?

  • Clair Omar Musser designed and built mallet insturments as well as created his own grip to hold 4 mallets. i have never seen his grip used beucase it has been replaced by the 'modified-musser-grip' more commonly know as the stevens grip. and the player here is using traditional grip though

  • Really? Looks like Burton's grip to me. Look at the thumbs.

  • the instrument is a marimba an etude is a type of song Musser is a composer and there is a grip or way of holding the mallets named after the composer.

  • You're wonderful I think you will Superstar...:P

  • very cool. doing well

  • This IS cool!! Are you playing drums as well? Cause I found you at one of the MP-videos =)

  • very good.. but nothing special :|

  • omg mate absolutly amazing! good work keep it up ;D
