I've watched different guitar covers of the Superman theme on Youtube, but none of them sounds like I imagine the perfect Superman guitar cover in my head. Sucks I can't play guitar myself :P Your version comes closest concerning the "intro" part (not the fanfare, the "Clark Kent looking for phone booth" music ^^), but is pretty far removed for the rest of the song as you pretty much do your own interpretation, what I have in my head is closer to the original.

When you listen to other guitar covers of the superman theme on youtube, no matter how well they're done, this part is often, to my ears at least, not very "well defined" at all, but sounds rather like some chaotic noise...

Not that the rest of your song isn't good, but it's a rock'n'roll version, and I'm looking more for a straightforward metal version ;)

@Herbarius oh well, it was just something that I threw together quickly, mainly to show off the guitar I built. That's all. I didn't really want to do the entire long full version of the theme. I just wanted to hit on the main sections to drive the point home. Considering that there were no other instruments backing me up, like drums or bass, I didn't want it dragging on too long. but thanks for your input.

I wish I had tab for that. I just did it by ear, and then transposed it to "E" so I could use the open low "e" string in opening, etc. Just try to play along with actual theme song, which I believe is in "B" I don't remember. Then take it wherever you want. Good luck. I hope that helped at all.

Sorry, but it's not for sale. I built it strictly for my own private collection, and as my conversation with DC Comics, and Warner Bros., I can't sell it unless I pay a licensing fee to produce it. I had to notify them once I built it just to cover my bases, and that was what they told me. But thanks for your interest.

Well, first I'd have to find a recording of the theme and then learn it. But, as luck would have it, I recently picked up a 60's Teisco Del Rey electric guitar, finished in a green sunburst finish that I modded and plays amazing. Well actually, the entire fretboard is covered in light blue copies of the same comics used in red and yellow on the body. The ones on the fingerboard, of course, are smaller copies so as to fit on the board better, and then the surrounding areas are painted in a matching light blue acrylic paint. Like I said, this guitar really does need to be seen in person to be able to catch all the little details, that, unfortunately can't be detailed in the video. Thanks though. I appreciate your words.
