I would say this is why they wont let equipment with autosteer be ran without an operator. I love how the cop is trying to follow it, and also the fireman trying to get into it on the side that doesnt have a door, most likely he wouldnt even know what to do inside of it.

Tractor tires are thick, they are also filled with fluid to add weight to the tractor. Shooting a tractor tire would be very dangerous, the bullets could possibly glance off and hit someone or something. What I don't get is why someone didn't just jump on it; it wasn't moving that fast, It would have been dangerous but possible.

@ooDarkghostoo just fyi, the toyota accelerator problem turned out not to be a fault in the electronic sensor, but because idiots don't realize that floor mats can pin down your pedals if you don't have them placed on the little clip on the floor which keeps the mats from touching the pedals. Nothing but an attempt by western interests to take advantage of idiots calling for recalls to harm the reputation of a competitor(I think toyota was #1 at the time too, and GM was hurting, could be wrong).

@rockcralwer Yeah, no it doesn't. Brakes won't stop a tractor in gear, and there is no gas pedal, especially since it doesn't use gas. It would have a throttle knob or lever, and I would challenge anyone that has never been in that model tractor to find it in under 2 minutes. Nice try though.

Tractors are operated very similarly to cars. They both have the clutch pedal and ignition switch in the same place so stopping it is easy as long as you can get inside. What amazes me is how this happened in the first place because you have to put it on manual throttle if you want it to run this fast unmanned. It seems like a disgruntled employee did this intentionally.
