Last night, after listening to the six keys of success, is when I had my "DUH!" moment. I realized I was too focused on the tools, instead of the technique. I was trying TOO hard to do this game with the c.stick, when I got better results using the savvy string. Havent gotten to this point with my filly yet, but thank you for showing me how to do this WITHOUT the stick!!
I just had a break through about this game yesterday. Thing is, last time I did Parelli, was back in 2007 with my thoroughbred gelding. We got all the way to this game, and then we got stuck.... and I admit, I just gave up. In 09, I had to sell him for financial reasons. Now, last week, I was given a Perch/Saddlebred yearling to work with and decided to give level one another go. (Will continue)
Aw! The scenery at your place is beautiful! I bet you just love Sonny, also. He is so cute. I wish my horses were as relaxed and attentive as he is! Haha!
Your horse is like mine when it moves better when you are driving the hind away. I always have trouble getting her to move in a circle when pushing her sholders. Your very good! :)
Left Brain dominate horses tend to be harder to drive away their zones 1 and 2 then the hind quarters. It's a dominance thing. He's getting better, this was a long time ago...I believe it was taken before winter

Anti Parelli comments?
Only those people who wish to "master" their horses would make such comments.
Those who respect our horses and wish to ride without inflicting fear and pain would never make an anti Parelli comment .
Nice video ...cheers :-)
