Tengo 16 años y gracias a este libro he descubierto un nuevo mundo. Es increíble cómo una simple historia puede hacerte viajar atrás en el tiempo y despertarte el interés por obras tan antigüas. Definitivamente, me gustaría ver todas o una gran parte de las películas que se salvaron de George Méliès. Realmente impresionante.

@CHAOSin8bits The original movie was in colors (painted image by image). The French cinema archives (CNC) issued a 6 DVD box of Melies works (896 minutes of movies ; brilliant!) in 2008. Some movies are in colors, but they explained that it was impossible to save the colors on many movies. That one is in black and white.

@NFL9475 They have found a copy of this movie in colour and are restoring it now, I dont know if you'd ever be able to get a copy once it's been restored but the images of the film segments on the documentary I watched were stunning!

¿De casualidad alguien sabe si para 1900 en adelante las camaras podían grabar "video", o si en el caso de esta película se aplicó la técnica "Stop-Motion" con los actores?

Porque si el stop motion es fotografía por fotografía y así sucesivamente, ¿Como le hizo Mëlies para grabar el polvo que sale al matar a un selenita?

Sería imposible hacer eso con stop motion. De ahi viene mi duda.

@1DinosaurLover  Lo grabó con un cinematógrafo que se inventó en 1895. y sí, utilizaba el stop-motion, paraba la filmación, cambiaba la puesta en escena y seguía grabando.
