They lost a lot of fans, and he got tired of being known as the band that did FCPREMIX, and the fans that did stick around kept saying "do old TFOT", so one day, he decided to call it quits, and start something new. Thus arrived Just Like Vinyl, it's kind of ironic, because he's bringing back the old songs...Tribune etc...but not mirrors...don't ask for mirrors...
@smashingpoop Mirrors is the thirty years war. The song is about Tim's old girlfriend dying, on a date of theirs. Since Tim is no longer making music with Thomas, the song is off limits. unless the original lineup, of TTYW got back together and did a show, then and only then, is it okay to play Mirrors. ;)
@ScreamoAnthony Are you sure Mirrors is a true story? Also, it's been off limits since TTYW were still together. On Live at the Paradox, during The Adventures of Allan Gordon, Tim states "No matter what you do, we will not play Mirrors. Tough luck." I had always assumed it was because he hated the song, due it's obvious difference from their other material.
