No symptoms, but they tell me I have kidneys problems...Urea, creatinin, potassium etc. Non -diabetic now, and BP is normal. also elderly.

im 19 and i have bubbles in my urine, when i drink a lot of water (like one glass of water every half hour) it goes away for a bit, but it comes back. I'm waiting for my urine results. What did i do wrong? Why must i die so young....? ugh life sucks...

I had went to the doctor and was told that I had Protein in my urine. I asked if I should be worried and she said no just drink more water. It seems like I should be. I went back to the doctor a second time to get a urine test and she said she found something else I had forgot what she had told me but it wasn't protein. Is this doctor really doing what shes supposed to or is she just trying to get me in and out. She gave me medication for a bladder infection but it doesn't feel like one.

@Koulatala a bladder infection will cause you severe lower stomach cramps,chills and sweats.if you are unhappy with the doctors decision you have every right to question it,its your health so dont be afraid to ask for a second opinion.also cranberry juice is a good antioxident for kidneys,try drinking a glass a day.it should help with the protien in you urine

@Koulatala Hi there, Its really sad to know about your disease but I have done a bit research on nephrotic syndrome which is the result of protein leakage in urine so I really wish your infection is not that serious but please get advice from another kidney specialist don't rely on same Doctor if you aren't satisfied. And as per my knowledge if anyone who got kidney stone's are advised to drink more water to flush out the stones but if protein is leaking then u should drink reasonably.

i use dxm daily. or did i mean. and i get floating white shit in my urine. and when it settles it looks like alot more. ive been urinating into a cup just to see it and after it sits theres usually a good layer of white stuff at the bottom. powdery white shit

I have to have a biopsy.. and im really scared apparently my protein is 17+++ and the average for a girl is 2.. i dont know what it is measured in, but please can you tell me if the biopsy will hurt?

@abzyba When I was 15 they found a lot of protein in my urine and I had a biopsy (three years ago). I was really nervous... they sedated me and I didn't feel a thing. I was a little sore for about a week but nothing terrible. If you aren't sedated, it's different- but if you're sedated it's not bad at all. (The protein in my urine was 24- if you have any questions just ask!)

how much and what does your diet consist of... is there pain?

are you prone to uti's?

the sweet smell may be indication of diabetes or toxicity overload....

try switching refined sugars to natural ones like stevia or honey...

you may have an allergy to food, you should talk to your dr about this... get a urinalysis to ease your mind

@ThePearldrop Get checked for diabetes, sugar is burned up in the body for energy, it should not be in the urine whatsoever, sweet smelling urine is a symptom of diabetes.

Water is a treatment for kidney stones but lack of water is not a cause of kidney stones. Eating a biochemically incompatible diet of animal protein is a cause as well as diabetes but the likelyhood varies with genetic script. Like all diseases there are more than 1 cause.

@megaman2160 Coke is the worst soft drink you can consume for kidney stones. Coke is insanely unhealthy. I would switch to a citrus drink or something that isn't so damaging to the kidneys. I don't know which soft drink is the best for kidney stones because I'm not here to support any company's product. Just to warn you that Coke is literally the worst one. The dark colored colas are terrible. Spinach, peanuts, and chocolate are also high in oxalates and will cause problems later. Water rules!

@pinkmartini2020 hi ask your sons doctors if intravienous antibiotics are an option,i have kidney faliure and whenever i get protien in my urine intravienous works quicker,yeah its a short stay in hospital(3.4 days) but it stops scarring of the kidneys quicker than tablets

I drink whey protein every day as a weight lifter but i also drink allot of water..Water is only thing that keeps the kidneys healthy its a matter of keeping them flushed out so for those who drink allot of milk and have a high protein diet must drink at least 15 cups of water a day...I had kidney stones before and they really fucking hurt bad thats because i was not drinking enough water but i do now at least 2 gallons a day...

Yeah i was on whey gourmet....its exellent for ripping up but each time i take it now my kidneys hurt....it sits like sand......maybe i needed to drink more water back then but yeh i think nomore whey protien for me anymore ...too much kidney strain

I got protein in Urin on my army medical check , so im am in conscript Army-serbia...and my m8 from unit told me...You lucky SOB ! this means 2 years without army pin in the ass...but the bad thing i dont know is it a virus infection or kidney disorder ! I visited my to do a routine checkup last wk. I just got a call about 20 mins ago that blood and protein was found in my urine and they urged me to see a kidney specialist. As you can imagine I am nervous. Fearing cancer mostly. I'm hoping its nothing. Tomorrow I will be going to my doctor to see which hospital will do the kidney evaluation for me. thx for the video

I don't think it would be problem if protein dedicated in urine test only if it happen most of time otherwise it's the way its in some cases for example when you are have physically activity and happened to be hungry and not drinking more water your body cell would utilize some of the fat in your body in this case protein will appear in urine this is just one case but its very serious when urine dedicated in regular bases in this case it has to go thru medical attention

Protein in the urine can be symptoms of an undrelying illness. However for some people, including me, protein in the urine is perfectly normal. I have kidney problems and a condition called colacal anomalie but im perfectly healthy and it doesnt effect me. If a patient has protein in the urine, then i would suggest further testing, perhaps a culture and/or microscopy. Im only 16 but have gained lots of knowledge from my consultants.

I dont have any diseases and what not im perfectly healthy...so im gonna be pretty pissed if they dont let me in the military, it's my last option of getting my life together.
