  • Walmart and Disnet are not alone. There are many others JUST as guilty!

  • This is horrible! We MUST demand that mthe products we buy in the USA are made by people who are OLD ENOUGH to work and who have DECENT WORKING CONDITIONS and who are paid a LIVING WAGE!

  • do you think thats only only walmart and the cheap brand mark are like this?all the companies do it...even those selling more expensive stuff see documentaries about iphone, nestle, caffe and chocolate plantation,adidas,nike...all of them do exactly the same...even dolce &gabbana have their factories in china or philiphines...the same electronics like samsung or sony...now all the world famous brands moving their factory to third world countries-labour cost...

  • 2 CEOs disliked this.

  • I don't know if I should like or dislike this video because it's good that they inform us about sweatshops...but on the other hand the way people are treated in those factories is just inhuman

  • In our western societies we just have to enact legislation for rights of workers from foreign countries enabling them to sue corporations for wages and benefits comparable to the nations they sell to, and to sue for unsafe working conditions in foreign countries. Make them accountable, and take away limited liability. Also press charges for human rights violations, remove limited liability, and use jail sentences for those involved as well.

  • It's Sad. The question is what is the Human Rights Organization doing about it?

  • The 1 Dislike came from the Supervisor of a Sweatshop Factory.

  • @iooo007 " so how was your day? " " boring... same old same old... getting fat and sleeping with my lover behind my wife's back. " " sounds so delightful. " lolz

  • This video is only popular with age 35-54, the younger generations need to be aware of this situation thats going on, so they can help. They are the future, and these people who work, deserve to have rights, to get paid, to have a day off. They get paid, what, 5 dollers a week? When were picking up a cheque of say 150-200 dollers? it just isnt fair.

  • All the people that are mad right now I bet 9 out of 10 would go shoping the next day. Sell outs Babylon will Fall.

  • What goes on behind closed doors matters. What each of us does with this information matters. People are counting on us to be their arms, legs, and voices. Organizing a writing campaign to Walmart, Disney, etc telling them you will not buy their products and why! Write a letter to your representatives and senators, and say Stop this! The US is greater than these practices. Our voices count!. Act now!

  • Walt must be turning in his grave.

  • all evil comes from america, sick bastards

  • all evil comes from America

  • We all know that life isn't fair, but when 3 Billion people live on less than $2 a day something is horribly wrong! If us in the "1st world" would pay an extra half dollar for that sweatshirt or your tennis shoes these people could double their pay! So little could help SO much! Pick a charity and give, even if just a little. To some of these people one dollar a week would change their lives. Just imagine...

  • Better yet - make the corporations pay a living wage in America and abroad. Don't let them continue to get away with this. This should be considered criminal.

    It is criminal.

  • It's not about paying higher prices or giving to a charity - those things are great, but the solution is centralized government reform in the industrialized countries. It's about substantial congressional reform in the US of corporate practices, wage and benefit structures across the board. We are farther from that dream than we were in 1900.

  • @randy95023 You would think it would be that easy. I watched a program on Nike aired on Public TV. What happens is the managers of the factors are more likely to line their pockets with the boost if Nike gives it to them. Nike claims they specify what and how the workers are to be paid but Nike's factory visits are always announced. The managers prep their workers a week ahead as to how they must answer Nike's questions or be without a job. Why not unannounced inspections by Nike?

  • If this is unequal and unfair and is considered slavery in the United States, what difference does it make that it's in Bangladesh. They are HUMANS. We should all be treated like humans, not like animals.

  • I...am so...ANGRY right now...

  • you deserve 2 die ,,, theres a war coming and i will kill you on sight ,, this is a very sad situation , not a time to be fucking stupid ,,

    have some respect ,, o shit ,,,

your probably AMERICAN ----- READ A FUCKING BOOK

  • y are u a dick! and i admit that Americans aren't the most informed people in the world, but its no excuse for pricks like you to be so rude. Least he cares. So stop hating on America.

  • fuck you....America has a lot of morons but not all of us are capitalists...one day this will come back to haunt you.

  • We should be shown this on TV...I would like to think that if more people in Canada and the U.S. knew about this, that it would make the difference for these poor people! Am I dreaming to think that? I feel like I've been sleeping thru the whole thing...thank God for Youtube, I am now aware of this awful tragedy happening to humans all over these countries. And to think that Disney would do this just makes me sick! Just goes to show what we know about our world and how we are in the dark!

  • Wal-Mart too.

  • Poverty is one thing....Slavery is another.

  • A redistribution of income is a form of slavery * It is the eternal struggle between these two principles — right and wrong — throughout the world. They are the two principles that have stood face to face from the beginning of time and will ever continue to struggle. The one is the common right of humanity, and the other the divine right of kings.

  • It is the same principle in whatever shape it develops itself. It is the same spirit that says You toil and work and earn bread, and I'll eat itNo matter in what shape it comes, whether from the mouth of a king who seeks to bestride the people of his own nation and live by the fruit of their labor, or from one race of men as an apology for enslaving another race, it is the same tyrannical principle o Seventh and Last Joint Debate with Steven Douglas, at Alton, Illinois 15 October 1858

  • These are subcontractors. Walmart and Disney pay a contractor for the goods, it really are the owners of the factories that are doing these mean things. They sign a contract that they will follow the rules set by the company but ignore them.

  • Indeed it is true. but the beating comes from the local staff who get the buck from Wmart
