Mr. Obama, what happened to the idea of looking past the fact that an idea is conservative or liberal, and instead focusing on what works? I'm impressed with your support of charters, but why are you and the Democrats in Congress fighting tooth in nail to dismantle the Washington School Choice Program, even though all the reports are positive. The parents love it, the kids love it, and best yet, it works. The kids in the program are 19 months ahead of their public school counterparts.

Great idea, Mr. President. But if your goal is to listen to the people online, perhaps you should take into consideration the number one topic on Change . org instead of laughing at it. Namely, marijuana. To scoff at the people who put you into office as if it was some online stoner prank of some sort is insulting to say the least. There are valid arguments on the topic that you should give strong consideration to. I hope that in the future this initiative will allow you to hear those arguments.
