I'm one of the biggest Kerouac fan. On The Road is my favorite book of all time, and I'm extremely fascinated by the Beat generation and their way of life.
When that's said, I do not personally like twillight, but also I don't wanna flame people who do.
What I'm trying to say here, is that Twillight doesn't have anything to do with this movie. Kristen is actually a great great actress. I can't wait to see her play that part.
First off, this film should use unknown actors to maintain realism, they couldn't have chosen a worse actress ... This worries me. Jacks work was about passion for words, the American dream, even to an extent the Agrarian dream, nature, buddhism, poetry, The shaping and building of a foundation for a subculture lost in a war torn and troubled America. I severly hope this doesnt ruin a classic and turn it into commercial shit, but i have my crippling doubts. Please dont dumb down Jacks work!

This sucks! It goes against everything the beatniks stood for. They are going to ruin Kerouac's work. Fuck Hollywood! It will be a very sad day when this movie comes out. The only thing true Kerouac fans can hope for is some sort of Hollywood strike.

Man! I´m very unlucky, I was about to be in this movie but I could not make it to the second round of the cast. There was a snow storm in Belgium and all flights were canceled! Maybe I could have been in the movie (not as a very important role obviously) but whatever. :(
i can't get it to play...but I did read a back and forth between her and Garrett. seems they are dating if the tweets on aol's lifestream are really them and really from their iphones...but then again...that is like putting their private numbers out there for anyone to get a hold of...maybe...its just two people with the account names doing it on purpose...who knows...can't wait to see garrett in this movie..he looks just like james dean...before my time...but i've seen his movies.

Bella wasn't emotionless, if anything she was overly emotional (remember, she says she cries when she gets angry and things) and she blushes a lot but she doesn't stutter in the book. (And, for the record, I've seen pretty much all of Kristen's movie, I knew who she was before Twilight - she's the same in all of them, she said herself she can't tell the difference between herself & Bella cause she made Bella like her instead of her like Bella).
