Whatever the truth, this is a fantastic live version and Marc plays a fab solo too. The mood of this particular Bolan classic IS one of melancholy...........such a timeless slice of Bolan.

Dunno why people give this comment a thumbs down. The comment is a good one in that it invites discussion and clarity for many fans, particularly new ones who know no better!

There is so much dodgy info out there and too many facts twisted, hidden, "misplaced" or destroyed. Just my humble opinion, but for an artist such as Marc to have such a massive catalogue of songs available and yet be plastered with flakey "truths" is bizarre in the extreme.

I'n not really new to the Bolan scene. Knowing Marc for more than 22 years. We all do not know the real truth but if you look at him he doesn't look very healthy and it is said he was taking pills to slim or maybe cocaine again.

I don't know the facts either, but I don't stick my head in my cd collection or my photo folder of C&P's either! I will remark that in Marc's last vid with David Bowie, Marc did look very drawn and gaunt.
