  • there's a brilliant theory in a link on the wiki, it explains the relations between this movie and Christianity, The young warrior being Jesus carrying the cross, and the girl drowning in water baptism of sorts. The massive ship thing being god the father sending down Jesus, the men chasing the fish, men following false desires. Really deep film, and truly a masterpiece in my eyes.

  • You know what, I think I can safely say that it's just the result of the writer's dreams being mashed into a movie with no meaning so that it will look deep and people will puzzle over its meaning when really, it has no meaning.

  • @Scarredgraymouse I wholly disagree. I think it has a lot to do with losing faith in Christianity, feeling as though you have been abandoned by god, etc. This is apparent in the visuals of the ark and the ocean, and especially when the egg is broken, revealing nothing inside. Of course, that's open to interpretation, as all great art is. But whatever it means, you can't deny that it's beautiful.

  • I... I cried. I don't understand this film, I don't think that it can be interpreted by anyone except the artist themself, but there is something lonely and very human about it.

  • Also in part 7 when God's talking about the dove not returning and perhaps drowning, that clued me off the girl's gotta be the dove.

  • Brings the world to ruin again.

I agree with others that have said the girl is a girl because she doesn't want to know the truth or have responsibility. She giving herself a new responsibility of hatching her own creation rather than giving man a new start.

  • Now as for her maturing suddenly upon her death and being a statue on the ship of heaven, I think she could possibly be the offspring an angel and the dove, the holy spirit and a human, or she could be an angel and dove in one. She ultimately is a servant of god gone awol. So I think when she dies she realizes she's an angel or servant of God when she matures in death. So offended by god's portrayal immediately she birth's tons of abominations from her last breath. And brings the world to ruin.

  • Also as for the drinking of water constantly, the dove is scavenging daily as though she's searching for something. She's just forgotten what. I just assume that since ocean water is not clean, even though an ocean is not present, she's conditioned to wanting clean drinking water. Since she has so many vias I assume that's how many times she and god/noah have been reincarnated and done this dance.

And I'm sorry viles is actually spelled vials. I feel silly. XD

  • This offends god. So he tries to convince the dove that whatever's in the egg is not alive and to discard it so she's not as hurt. But she's convinced so he takes it from her in the night and does away with. Then she tries to chase him and drowns.

I think the story is the constant cycle of failure to renew the earth. God is on a constant chase for the dove and trying to make her continue her purpose and find land that's fit for man. But she's failed so many times the land has gone to rot.

  • So after god/Noah says what happens he tries to play like maybe what he said previously was a theory. Then, just like he wanted, the dove divulges the "bird" is real. When he sees it, his mouth sinks and brow furrows. This confirms to the God that the dove once again has reinvented her purpose and is bringing an abomination he did not create into the world. I can't really see it all that well but that bird has human like bones. She's been doing so for a long time indicated by the viles of water.

  • in the movie when we see, which I agree, is heaven. A flying a ship with windows and statues of angels. He's either Noah or God. And that manifestation of either is going through the world pretending he's lost his purpose, when the dove has actually lost hers. She just goes out drinking tons of water and bringing viles back. Hebefriends the dove as a stranger. But when hearing him talking in part 7 he uses "I". This makes me assume he's god because he already knows alot about what happened.

  • Ok, had to go over this movie a second time. The film has so much symbolism and anyone's interpretation is right.

The opening credits indicate the "girl" is living in the original ark. She's running from it. And it's confirmed with the skeletons of many giant beasts. The fish have got to be ghosts of biblical fish. And the "girl" has got to be the dove that weakened and drowned. She's white, her hair's white, her hair's feathery, and her petticoat is not unlike plumage. The guy first appears

  • thats definitely the bottom of a ship... @_@

  • Oshii lost job for a while after this movie

  • This itsn't an anime..... THIS IS ART!!!! I want to analyse and dissect this movie, write an essay, and then turn it into my English Lit. Professor!!! 8D

  • This is the saddest and strangest films I've ever seen

  • actually the girl symbolizing mary makes a lot of sense. she carries the egg around like its in her womb, and presumably it was the object that led her to salvation. the guy with the cross destroys the egg/her 'baby' (just like jesus was killed) ... and then she ascends into heaven.

  • heres my interpretation: the story takes place in the fallen world (presented as a town on the bottom side of noah's ark) and the dude with the cross is assisting the girl join the kingdom of heaven (the mechanical thing with all the people)

the guys chasing after the illusionary fish perhaps symbolize lost souls chasing after meaning/religion

the egg could symbolize hope, i doubt theres actually anything in it. she makes more eggs of 'hope' which more lost souls may find? shes mary i guess

  • If one things for sure, Angel's Egg proves to be beyond time, I won't easily forget this one. So many different interpretations on an hour of film, I think that's the beauty Oshii intended.

  • I have seen few things as depressing as the lost, forgotten, half-sunken ark amids the black, endless sea, abandoned by god...

  • o_o wow

  • Didn't anyone catch the end when it's slowly zooming out? The city they live in is built on an overturned, floating, NOAH'S ARK. They've all been living on it and have forgotten all about where they came from.

  • @numbuh53 um what makes you think it's noah's ark? Christianity isn't very strong in Japan so i highly doubt it.

  • @numbuh53 um what makes you think it's noah's ark? Christianity isn't very strong in Japan so i highly doubt it.

  • @AnalogueAbsynth the whole film has loads of xian overtones

  • @AnalogueAbsynth Have you even watched the beginning half of the movie...? The entire time the man keeps talking about the story of Noah's ark. >_>

  • @numbuh53 i thought it looked like a feather XD put i can also see where you get Noah's Ark from too

  • @numbuh53 omg thank you so much! Now it makes a little more sense.

  • @numbuh53 its like a small planet

  • Good art, not really a point to it, VERY confusing, characters could have more expressions- both look high during the whole movie. And what's the deal with all the water? Made me have to pee a lot -.-;;

  • @pinko666 I disagree. The characters had a really limited amount of expressions I think because they've been trapped in such a void world for so long they've forgotten what emotion is. And I don't think they looked 'high' either; high peoples' eyes are bloodshot and almost shut, like slits. The water was probably a religious symbol.

  • This whole movie was like a long, uneventful dream. Though, I can't imagine being asleep long enough to dream about this much nothingness. The only thing I really appreciate was the beauty and quiet innocence of the child.

  • This was so beautiful even though i didn't understand some of it, but still it was really enjoyable!!~

  • i love this movie!!!! ... now ... what was it about? jk. i dont really care. :p

  • marinersfanfromny thanks for this.

  • if u ask me it was very slow motion movie....its just not my style. whoever likes it its ok!

  • I loved the movie but I'm so confused!!

  • I have no idea what I just watched. But I enjoyed it for some reason.

  • It almost seemed as though the guy were death following the girl (life). I wish this was available like other films...oh well.

  • amazing movie my favorite soo far!

  • I won't pretend to understand this film (I have a feeling you are meant to interpret it as you see fit), but it was surreal and artistic, an interesting watch. Thanks for posting, I read about it something like twelve or fifteen years ago in an Animerica and couldn't remember what it was called (Nor had I seen it) until now.

  • Me: 0_0

(Slowly begins to clap. Soon increases in momentum.)

    Bravo Oshii. Bravo.

  • The vibe I got from the egg was that something dangerous was inside of it that the girl was unaware of or too ignorant to realize. So he prevented something from happening, either that or released her (of her delusional duty of guarding the egg). -shrugs- But the trip is the dozen or so eggs suddenly spawned, so... at the same time, perhaps he was merely initiating something.

  • Comment removed

  • XD The movie was so confusing and for most of it I was just staring at my screen wondering what the heck happened.. and yet it left me completely breathless... X_x"

  • this confused the f*ck out of me, i have no idea what just happened in that movie, intresting to watch though but @_@ my eyes are spinning someone care to help out? @_@

  • VERY IMPORTANT, I am currently collecting emails and messages to send to Criterion in an effort to get a release of this film. Everyone, please contact me as soon as possible to support this wonderous film. SIncerly, Angel's Egg Coalition.

  • woah my brain just imploded

  • Masterpiece.

  • Can someone please tell me where these biochemical tanks are at?!

  • This animated art is truly a treat for the senses. No need to complcated it by trying to figure out everything presented to the viewer. Just feel it and get carried away... I am the Eggman, I am the Eggman, I am the Walrus ... Goo-goo-gah-joob!!!

  • this movie was kinda boring but so mysterious. I watched till the end, and i didn't get it, but the weird part is...i like it.

  • @tyrongkojy The fish allegory is commentary on faith. Mamoru Oshii had lost his faith at the time he decided to go into animation instead. He originally planned on being a priest. The idea of "chasing something" blindly even though you know deep down that there is no such thing. That is the depth of motif that is Oshii.

  • This was awesome. Yoshitaka Amano is one of my favorite artists. I'm really glad that this is here for everyone to see, since the film is so hard to find on its own. It was a real treat to watch. c:

  • Ok that was good, in one of those strange, i can't believe i watched it kind of ways... I'm a little annoyed because it could have been so much better... Yea love it and hate it at the same time... worlds within worlds, life within life... It complex and simple all at the same time

  • it was like a dream. so fragile

  • the part where he explains away her egg, that she i hearing the wind and her own breath and stuff represents how she has hope

  • The end, before the girl falls in the water and she creates mroe eggs, you see the home she stayed at was the egg with the dreaming bird from the beginning of the movie. So the arc of life, is still waiting for that bird, meanwhile everyone is turning to stone. Dying off, stones are the 'cathedrel', the gravemarks.

    that's my guess, anyways

  • continuing...Men, who cannot create like women, are running around chasing fish shadows. Shadows of a 'catch,' never really caught. The glass window, was a colorful fish, the girl standing in the window represents her ability to touch the fish, the possibillities that men chase. These people are still waiting for that bird to come back.

  • Continuing...The story the man tells isthe plot. The man is one of the last to live on that arc. The collection of 'stone' women on that big floating round machine are a grave marker for all the last women of the race. The statues are all women. The dove is above their heads dreaming, symbolizing their hopes, that they are above them, and they do look high enough to see them. Her hopes were carried with her, her egg. Hope, for future possibilities.

  • He never really rapes her, his actions in the story are just symbolism for us to interpret. She is feminine, water, serene, and nurturing. He is masculine, fire, if you see that big round machine in the beginning, it is descending from above, where his element whould be, fire. In the end, it is ascending from below water, just as the girls element seems to be water.

Does anyone notice that in the end, the whole 'island' in the end, looks like an arc on water?

  • that world is so eerily beautiful and terrifying at the same time but made me feel so close to it, the world seemed to symbolize the demise of humanity, no organic forms, no natural light, the absense of spirits or souls, loss of communication and identity

  • this is a Beautiful Movie, artistic, thought provoking, gorgeous visuals and i like how some1 commented saying this film is about Purgatory, i LOVE that idea, this being another Realm and the guy perhaps being like the Ferryman in Greek Mythology (the 1 who moves the boat to help souls travel to the other side), maybe the egg was symbolizing her, small, pale, fragile and maybe he broke it because she was trapped in this realm, like the egg keeping a new bird inside or it's her Unfinished Task.

  • I wonder who made this movie, the art in this animation looks the same as Amano's work. That being the ones similar to the early art of Vampire Hunter D and

    Final Fantasy.

  • @OrenRamoManuel In fact Yoshitaka Amano was the character designer, and Mamoru Oshii (Ghost in the Shell, The Sky Crawlers, etc.) the director - y'know, one of the most representative directors of his country.

  • This truly has to be one of the most hauntingly beautiful movie ever made!

  • I like the music. Very french.

  • I'm 12 years old and what is this?

  • this movie is about religion '' something you can never quite understand just like this movie but its there''

  • I'm usually a pretty complex person and I can understand most movies... But this is one of the most plotless and confusing movies I have ever watched. But it didn't suck, just no real point to it. No actually it's no real clear point to it.

  • @dudes8ntkewl well i see the opposite! there is a strong point there is plot and for me is very clear

  • Thank you thank you thank you for posting that movie!!!!!!!!!!!!! Id never seen it before and its definitely one of my favorite movies now!!!! 5 stars!!!!

  • Ok, I liked it, but it made about zero sense. Shadows of fish with no fish? A weird spaceship-thing? Bubbles turning into eggs? And in the beginning, was that a dino and an angel sharing an egg??? I thought it was gonna hatch!!!!! Is there a sequel???!!! PLEASE reply!!!

  • @poohroo13 lol sorry, it doesn't look like there's a sequel for this. It looks to be something like a representational animated film.

  • I the scenery is wonderfull all movie long... And it really puzzles me WHY he broke the egg! (it kinds of makes me sad). it's funny that he didn't tell eho he was, and so did the girl... i think she was an angel. and that giant ball thing is the Noah's boat. anyway... Does anybady know what that blue thing in the end was? I cant make sence of it!

  • I have to re wach this film... It really gives you the impresion of being a dream. And when he broke the egg, and she, well died, I thought of "life fter death"... Something like that.

  • Thank You so much for sharing!

  • i don't think the writer wanted to make any sense with this, he just wanted to make an artistic movie. Concepts like post-apocaliptic, religion, art and deep music, this wasn't strange for it's epoca, a world resembling a dream, a little girl resembling a ghost that carries an egg that represents dreams, a dark misterious soldier that looks for something , the christian/catolic/jew/muslim god simbolysm, fosils, the ghost city, etc, in short: it's like a painting, full of simbolysm.

  • This movie was sublimely beautiful. I don't think there ever will be another movie like it.

  • there's absolutely no chance of a soundtrack cd, is there? .....not from an obscure film from 1985....nosireeeee....

  • @salro99 it's out there. i can't post a link but look for it

  • @salro99

yes there is a soundtrack you just have to search on google. i have it . it has 14 tracks and they really give you the feeling of despair and sadness.

  • Hm...............................

  • Also if you guys like this movie have you ever played a game called the path? It's kinda like this where it's mysterious and symbolic but in the end it is coherent. It's a video game meant to be a symbolic work of art so I think you guys will like it. And if any of you here have played it don't give ANYTHING away in case someone plays it >.> You can look up info about it at taleoftales.c om. I swear this isn't an add. I just thought you all might like it.

  • Here's something I've been thinking, maybe she needed the egg to live for something because she was alone and had nothing to live for.

  • Awesome upload. I'll rate it on imdb when I get a chance.

  • Lol, i engulfed the whole concept...

  • And finally the

    "water bottles"

  • At times i wish the director would have a commentary on videos like this. It would clear up many

  • One interpretation is that the girl's innocence was taken. Another was her faith/hope. Another is that they all were still living with the flood on noah's ark. Another was that 'she' was the bird and last hope of life rebirthing. Key elements: The egg The guy questioning The girl's remarks The guy breaks the egg in darkness Changing from girl-to-woman More eggs A capsize land that looks like a boat the "shadow" behind the land
  • he was suppose to meet her and she was suppose to meet him..why? maybe for each one to move on something, her to remake egges for that planet and him to understand his dream, that he us suppose to have been there to help her..in that time, but he was part of that place in the past, or nother life..becose he talks about birds and it look like there have been a lot of it in that place before..maybe they knew each other before..lindo..

  • it being broken or from nothing being inside, meaning that all the time she had spent caring for it was wasted. when she fell into the revine bubbles came out of her mouth from her last breath and turned into eggs. so in her death she created more life. and then she and her surroundings became stone, living eternally. the men chasing the fish were also blindly chasing what they thought to be there, only for nothing to exist in reality. the girls death brought forth rebirth, the man lived on?O.o

  • that was extremely hard to understand, an i loved every bit of it! from what i could get, the girl was protecting the egg despite not knowing what was inside, blindly putting faith that something good would happen. the man is the opposite and doesn't believe in anything without proof. he got tired of waiting and broke the egg to see what was inside, and since there was nothing...the girl had been putting her faith into nothing. when the girl saw the broken egg she was in despair, possibly from

  • yeah um that was the slowest but ok movie i ever seen

  • the world at the end of the movie, looked liked an egg or a feather...

  • @maple1girl i thought it looked like a capsized boat. :3

  • i really wanted there to be some weird gross bird-creature fetus inside of that damn egg.

  • I wouldn't call it the best but it was a nice film. I did enjoy it though.

  • Thanks for upload.

    I enjoyed it.

  • The best I can come up with is that the egg represent life. The guy crushing it and finding nohing inside tells me that life has no meaning.

But I really don't have any clue of what I just saw.

  • Thank you so , so much for uploading this ! I've been wanting to watch this for a pretty long time now , thanks !

  • i like how the landscape zooms out and its revealed that it has a resemblance of an egg. didnt see that coming

  • This movie was just wonderful, I loved it! Thanks for uploading this, I wish it was more popular because it really deserves it.

  • I don't think I understood half of that, but I loved it!

  • The show has meaning, though some might not understand it.

  • If you support this movie, vote it up past 8.0 on IMDB. More exposure will hopefully result in an eventual Blu-Ray release.

  • @marinersfanfromny Many thanks for sharing this wonderful video!

  • fuck. I love it but, i still have so many questions....fuck...

damn, that was cool though. I'm always trying to find movies that are like dreamlike and i finally found one and a good one.

    bless you marinersfanfromny

  • amazing!!!!

  • Thank you so much. Ths was very enjoyable to watch. This film was like a poem - Theres metaphors in them too and people can interpret them differently. That's what I liked about it. I also liked the BGMs of this film.

  • @Cloves08417

    you make sense to me

..... yeah and the ending credits song is mucho good too.

  • cheers for uploadinnit, mate!

  • wow, this was superb. The whole rebirth, the dream within the dream, the little girl was part of something she was not aware of herself, a dream of a bigger scale. but she was the center of it all, without her, nothing could be reborn,

  • hard to understand but love it

  • hmm the bird or angel turning to stone) dying) upon a large tree that he was speaking of sorta refered to those weird trees with eggs or giant egg shaped stones with vines around them.....etc etc just interesting to watch. ^^ but he was an asshole for breaking it unless he was noah pissed off after waiting for so long lol

  • Beautiful movie.

  • Woah! What happened to Earth?

  • brought me to tears...

  • i gues that you should know a lot about biblical history to understand this, but its werry beautifull, both the design's, animations, sound and the plot that thaywe made this whole thing out of,im not a werry religious person, but this is one of my fav anime's, sharing 1. place whit nekojiru and serial experiments lain

  • Best movie evar. This movie proves animation IS art.

  • wait wait, what if she's the dove all along? and the floating thing is noah's ark? it would make sense, she came back and i geuss found that the flood hadn't subsided (flood= getting rid of evil?)

hard to interpret but good movie :)

  • MOTHER FUCKER DONT QUESTION ITS GRANDEUR!

This movie is amazing in every way tangible.

she has an egg and she runs around with it.

then the guy on PCP with a cross sword felt like killing stuff.

Then the director had some sort of egg fetish and made her blow a bunch of eggs.

then there was a big ship thing with a bunch of frozen people.

then the guy on PCP was like "awh, yea"

    The End.

  • @CptnCody

    Rofl

  • crazy good, but crazy hard to understand if it is even understadable.

  • I really didn't get much. WHAT IS THAT SUPPOSED TO MEAN???

  • Loverly and mysterious. I liked.

  • after watching the whole things i finally understand the movie! :D

  • Doesn't anyone else think the last shot reminds of Solaris?

  • @heishirosama

oh....yeah....yer talking about the original right....i kinda forgot what that meant in solaris......oh wait now i remember, yeah that was cool.

  • it has to do wit noahs ark obviously lots of symbolism of that, like the ship where she runs from n the beginning follower by ''white feathers'' behind her and the ship on this part. maybe they resemble people in purgatory

  • Slowest movie ever !!

  • I thought they were underwater or something.

  • I am cry.

    Film is fantastic.

  • this is film is very intriguing and interesting. it is good. i dont have any idea as regards the director's motive of creating it nor does this film is based on upon his personal experience..

it touches on Christianity - on how worthy would it be to keep achieving his goal that somewhat fading in time passing.

the dream/goal he gave up after realizing what all we humans are capable of.

there could be a lot of interperetations as regards this film - an awakening, perhaps?

  • This movie is truly a masterpiece, as we all know every anime has a message for us, some are tricky and some are simple, Ive seen serial experiment lain, Ive seen neon genesis and, Ive seen ergo proxy, but i have never ever seen anything like angels egg, it is truly a haunting mystery of deep despair and sorrowful suffering.

  • that was haunting.

  • It's interesting very interesting but i have to wach it again XDXD to find the corret interpretation ñ_ñ

  • what the fuck did i just watch

  • quite possible the greatest piece of animation ever

  • This movie would be verry good to show in schools and let it be discused =3

  • Whats the song called??

  • Hey something I noticed that I didn't see in the comments was the last shot. That floating world in darkness looks a lot like the bottom of a boat...an ark maybe? All of this occurred on the bottom of the Ark, within the world being washed away. Maybe this is the world that was flooded or what was left?

  • Or maybe the debris of our planet floating in the void of space - which according to quantum mechanics only SEEMS to be a void-.

No light would mean water would turn into ice. Doesn't matter for the argument: the whole film is symbolic mostly.

  • Oops, you already mentioned that at the end off your cmmt, tactics.

Then I agree with that option.

  • ...D: I DON'T GET IT, what the hell was all that about? I understood some of the Noah's Ark references but I really didn't get that at all.. Are we meant to make up our own symbolism for it? Well, either way, it was pretty cool.. I felt really bad for her when she started crying over the broken egg.

  • It's interesting reading all these various interpretations.

I just kinda thought the girl was protecting the egg out of hope for life and existence in a world that was clearly empty of either. And the man, maybe some kind of bitter god or devil, crushed the egg because in the end, there is no hope for humanity. I found it beautifully dark and twisted.

I like the other interpretations better. Haha.

  • That`s a very beautiful film. Thank you very much for giving us the chance to see it.

I`ve read your theories about the egg symbolism (faith, innocence, etc.) I agree, that might be it. But I think the egg here is more material than spiritual. The girl clings to that materialism as if it was spiritual (she refused to believe it`s 'empty'). The girl grew up and was saved from the dead world only after the egg was broken.

I could explain it better, but it`s hard to do it with the word limit.

  • so beautiful and so sad... not half as confusing as it is sad...

  • I added a facebook group for this movie. Search and discuss.

  • lol what if he just drew random shit its so hard to know whats going on because once u think u get somewhere somethin else fuckin odd comes up and u have to relate them to all the other odd abstract things that never stop ending

  • We all look for answers in life. I think he represents a soul in despair who see's someone who has found her own truth, but has not found his, and follows her as if her truth might rub off on him.(religion)

then destroys her egg/truth because it isn't his. It's interesting to me that his weapon is shaped like a cross.

Her turning into stone may symbolize becoming too rigid in one's beliefs. So does her death & transformation represent Truth/Followers or Martyrdom?MachiRose

  • Well, I took it as, the egg is the girls innocence (beyond 'sexualized virginity'), the man is the half of mankind that is logical and analytical, while the girl is a believer, a true believer, in something she can't even see- but feel- the egg. The man is religion trying to explain/materialize the mysteries of some intangible concept- such as hope or maybe even purity, and in trying to figure this out kills it. The girl falls into the sea, much like Noah's Bird, but is rebirthed AND

  • That world in which she lived is preserved in some stone-like sanctuary or graveyard much like we saw the dinosaur bones when they were exploring the old cavern, and like "The Bird" who has long been gone.

I feel like the egg being empty just means that you can't put faith in remains of what has come before you or your own memory. Like the men chasing their imaginary fish.

But, I could be so off. I'm going to wiki it haha

  • @SwtMsT i like what You wrote and yes it can be

  • @RichiBitch thanks, I love Yoshitaka Amano.

  • Wow... just WoW! So many crazy interpritations + it's beautiful! Thank you, thank you, for sharing this! Damn know I must find the DvD to it....

But it's defenitly not for everyone.

  • now that i have foudn out what this movie symbolises, i think it is very clever and teh message has been put across in a very clever way , i feel stupid for not realizeing the meaning sooner lol , that was very good

  • Wow! Brilliant movie

Thanks for posting, I love a good mindf***!

  • pretty amazing, wish there was more anime like this

  • LOL. same here. I'm completely confused, bu I like it like that. : P

  • I'm still confused, what happend!? Some one please explain!!

  • you've just been surrealiz'd... why are you so certain something just happened. maybe it still has to happen, or maybe it never happened. theorize all you want; but i guarantee you: without the authors explanation you will never come to the core of what just hapened. and even then iit;s probable you can read more into it

  • angel's egg is the world they live in...?

good stuff. great stuff. this murders nge, hahaha.

  • could it be that the land's noah's fail ark and that they are trapt in that reality

  • you can't laugh at this

  • Actually you know what? I say liar, liar, pants on fire. I bet the director knows *exactly* what is going on in his work, but just doesn't want to say it out loud lest, as the man said, he lets it outside of himself, and loses it, and somebody comes along, and finds his dream, his hope, his purpose.... and shatters it. And the camera pans out, and he realizes what a tiny, petty little world he'd been living in after all.

  • Was that a moldy apple slice?

    *mind snaps*

    What does it all MEAN?

  • i liked this

  • That is beautiful.
