  • What size tyres, rims and lift are you guys running on the red brumby and the white one? I own a red 91 brumby and I'm tryna find I nice way to set her up, cheers :)

  • @ovillium Sorry about the late reply, we are running 27" tyres on 14" rims. You need a 2" lift with some metal work hammered in, or 3" with more clearance. You can get 28" on if you convert to 6 stud rims or 5 stud hubs. There's not much choice in the original PCD over 14".

Would you like more info on the above?

  • @ovillium I forgot to mention on my previous reply, you'll really need some extra power to drive the bigger wheels as the gearing is all thrown out. At the very least, check out the rear diff and see if there is a sticker on it. If it says 3.9, you're not doing too bad. If you find 3.7, then you might struggle. These numbers are the ration of the gearbox and diff, ie 3.9:1.

    There's a wealth of information on ausubaru.com

  • @GenrlDSanchez alright thanks, i got a 2in body lift there that ive had for a while, i just dont want to fit it until i get the right rims, and the cars set up right first, whats the ideal gearbox ratio?

    cheers :)
