While I do agree it may be a bit silly to dislike a video because of "gyarados being bad". Everybody is entitled to an opinion and if they truly dislike a video, that's they're right. What else would they dislike a video for? Quality or the narration. And people simply did not like that part of the narration.

Gyarados was amazing in 4th gen simply because there was less threats for Gyarados and as a result can sweep easily. As well as Latios has not the best defense on both sides meaning something like Scarf Hydregion can go and outspeed Draco Meteor for a OHKO. over and out

@lucarioAdventure1 That's not a very good argument. Scarf hydreigon can only outspeed specs variants, and scarf latios is more common that specs imo. I'm not part of this whole flame war so don't get pissed. Just pointing out a flaw in your argument. Gyarados is kinda lackluster this gen, but Latios is a definitely a threat. Especially if your team doesn't have a bulky steel type. Chansey/Blissey can be hurt with Psyshock.

Ever ended up on the wrong side of a Sub DD Gyara sweep? It isn't pretty. Gyarados definitely isn't as good as it was back in 4th gen, but it's still a massive threat if it gets a chance to set up, especially in the ever so common rain. STAB+Rain+DD gives you a 80 Base Power move (Waterfall) with perfect accuracy and a 20% chance to flinch hitting at +3.

Admittedly, Rotom-W is a bitch.

Gyarados might be outclassed these days, but Latios is pretty good. High speed that ties with among the fastest pokemon which are usually used (non-scarfed), and high SpA with a 140 BP stab move. It can trouble a lot of teams.
