  • I wanna top-load her!

  • The HE washing machine uses a lot less water than the non HE. Therefore, the HE Detergent is formulated for less water usage load/machine. The non HE washing machine fills up with a lot more water than the HE machine. Wouldn't the HE detergent be diluted in a non HE machine ?

  • Charlies Soap works better than all the rest. You only need 1 tlbs. That is for either front or top loader. I also use the same amount of Borax. And 1/4 c. of vinegar in the fabric softener dispenser. No odors, no mold, only clean clothes. Vinegar on a cloth will also clean away residue in the tub from any detergent.

  • HE detergent is specifically formulated to create fewer suds than regular detergent. Regular detergent in an HE washer will cause oversudsing and could lead to residue build.

  • Wisk & All HE I have found to be low sudsing. Regular Wisk & All don't sud that much more from my experience. Tide HE from my experience suds more than the regular Tide. Using less regular detergent does not create excessive suds. I should know because my front loader was made (11 years ago) before HE detergent was available, and not had any problems using regular detergent. I've had to give away my Tide HE detergent, because it suds too much. Thanks, but I'll stick with regular detergent

  • What about non HE detergent in an HE washer?

  • Absolutely. You can use an HE detergent in a non HE washer without issue.

  • can HE detergent can be used in a top loader?
