  • NICE..............That's my exact car but mine is black and a 95. It sounds the same but i have the K&N CAI and flowfmaster muffler. Gotta get me some rims like that. They REALLY look good on that car. Mine are the stock dull looking ones

  • @gbrown4x4 It was a good car never had one problem with it. I've since sold it.... but I wasnt a fan of those wheels. Everyone has them on their F-body.... bozeforged wheels are the hot ticket for these machines. Thanks for the comment.

  • How much did the setup cost ya? I'm looking to do a cat back & dynomax bullets sounds pretty damn good XD lol also from Utah.

  • @777Shock777 I think it was 700 for install and everything. I've since sold the car to a buddy of mine after I put long tube headers on it. I should have made a video after I did that because it sounds pretty damn mean with just full bolt ons. You'll enjoy it. If you have any other questions feel free to ask. I've had experience with a lot of exhaust sytems.

  • @NUNPUNCHER714 Not too bad for install + parts. Oh wow! You deff shoulda made a video, sad to hear the car is gone...

I bet! Yeah I'm looking at these Dynomax Bullets & SLP Loudmouths.

Did you see any horsepower gain? & was it a resonator you replaced it with?

  • @777Shock777 the HP gain was minimal.... full exhaust with a bigger throttle body and tune is where you will see your big gains. In this video it was just catback with the bullet muffler. 3 inch tubing all the way around. No resonator.

  • check out these scoops by trans am visual performane on their website transamvisualperformance. com

  • 3 inch?

  • @mitchyd89 yes 3 inch all the way around

  • Is that in Colorado?

  • @ThunderZ72 Utah

  • exhaust on that is amazing

  • sounds pretty swell! i'm not so sure about the bullets though.. do they have a real rumble to them in person? i absolutely love the flowmaster rumble but want sorta louder than my Super 44's... can't decide. and would you happen to know how loud the bullets are compared to the super 44's?

  • @person3213 they are so much more aggressive than flowmaster.... i wont own anything other than GMMG or bullets.

  • @NUNPUNCHER714 how much louder than Super 44's though? i don't want to to loud... police around here are wicked anal

  • @person3213 they're not annoying loud. you'll like them

  • @NUNPUNCHER714 aiight thanks

  • @person3213 Don't be a pune buy some. I am as soon as I got the money for my truck.

  • *Ugh*@ "Rims"...idk if its just getting older or what but I seriously can't take people's....lack of knowledge. WHEELS WHEELS WHEELS WHEELS WHEELS WHEELS WHEELS WHEELS WHEELS they're called fucking WHEELS.

Anyways...car sounds nice, thinking of getting the 3" Bullet myself :D

  • @3400sfi hahahaha I hear you there! *wheels* The bullet is a pretty sweet set up on the LT1. I'm pretty happy with my GMMG set up I have on my 2000 WS.6 post some vids up once your exhaust work is done!

  • @NUNPUNCHER714 Got the bullet from Summit...$53 shipped!! Can't beat that, anyways it wont be going under the car until I get the cam done and motor buttoned up, then I'll tune in the cam etc then I'll post up a vid

  • @3400sfi not bad at all! congrats! let me know when the vid is up, I wanna check it out!

  • CAMARO

  • @artfoolman almost!!.... *Trans Am!!!

  • @NUNPUNCHER714 nevermind..........lol, anyways nice ride, i have a 95 t-top camaro

  • @artfoolman hahaha its all good buddy! i dont own this car anymore. i just bought a 2000 WS.6 trans am. Go to my page and check it out

  • Sorry, but what are those rims called? I have stock rims which are similar to those but mine looks wider a bit and are just silver alloy.

  • @SuRihtanil they are ZR1 replica wheels.

  • Nice car. I just sold my 96 that looked just like this one. The guy just called me and said the TCS is not working. He spun out. It's been raining the past 2 days. I never had this problem. I told him to look in the fuse box, but where is the fuse box on the 96 Trans Am? And witch one is the fuse?

  • @10GalReef there are 2 fuse boxes, there is one on the left hand side of the steering wheel and there is a fuse and relay box under the hood on the drivers side. I dont have traction controll on mine so i wouldnt be able to tell you what it looks like. he probably just spun out because the roads are wet... these cars are so torqy it doesnt take much if the roads wet to 360 the sucker.

  • @10GalReef that guy is just retarded, tell him if he cant handle a real car to go buy a ricer or a mustang

  • hey quick question, when u installed the dynomax did u notice ur gas mileage went down mabey im trippin but i had it installed last week on friday and i think my gas mileage got pretty bad, jus wondering

  • @hemiowner105 no my gas mileage was really good when i had just this catback . i was getting 25mpg around town, but i just put long tube headers on and it went down a little because ive been getting on it a little more haha. what year is your TA? If youve done other mods since you put the dynomax on your gas mileage could suffer a little.

  • nice1 im looking into theses mufflers? is it single muffler welded inline under the right side or did they mount it under ythe back were the oem mufler was?

  • @hemiowner105 its an inline muffler before the axle

  • mods? nice car btw

  • @SySTeM4T1c just catback exhaust and intake in this vid. as of now ive done full bolt ons and gears. im working on a new video right now. thanks for stopping by

  • @NUNPUNCHER714 dude, that sounds awesome in this vid, message me the new vid once its done

  • @SySTeM4T1c check out my channel, posted a new vid of my new finished project. you might enjoy it.

  • Badass TA dude. Aside from the wheels, it's nearly identical to mine.

You should put a video up of the car sitting still and just straight revving.

  • This spring i'll have a new video up, she looks totally different now. its just stock in this vid, i have a lot more mods ive done since. I'm just finishing a few things up.... and i dont drive it in the winter time :( it sucks. keep checking back. thanks for the support!

  • ok haha so in your opinion, should i get the bullet muffler or the exhuast system with the bullet muffler

  • if i were you i'd just get the whole system, its only like 700 bucks i think.

  • This is hands down the best exhaust system that ive heard on a ta. I got a 94 LT1 and am thinkin about gettin just dynomax bullets... how much difference would the sound be from just mufflers to the whole system?

  • the bullet is the muffler, the bullet is only about 12 inches long and hell probably 10 or so inches around. its tiny hence why it sounds so damn good! haha my set up is 3 inches all the way up to the cats, but next month i'll have my pacesetter long tubes tied into them. hopefully i'll have a new vid soon. but there is a night and day difference between the actual mufflers and the bullet.

  • just picked up the same system for my LS1, bad ass for sure! Did you notice your exhaust getting louder after a few days break in?

  • ya it gets a little deeper, but not to much.

  • is this the whole system or just the muffler?

I am deciding between dynaflow, hooker, slp, or magnaflow and i only want the mufflers

Also, where are those tips from??

  • its the whole system, its called the race bullet. the tips are magnaflow. SLP would be a good choice, but if its going on a Trans am or Camaro dont go with magnaflow... i had flowmaster, magnaflow and now this, and its what im stickin with.

  • ok thanks man

  • Nice TA, i actually just got a 99 and i was trying to figure out what exhaust to use...its definatley now between these and flowmaster

  • you'll hate flowmaster, ive had them and magnaflow. go with the race bullet, gmmg, or slp loudmouth

  • sweet sound :)

  • is that dynomax turbo muffler???

  • nope, its called the dynomax race bullet.

  • we also have one but we have white stripes^^

  • Sounds great love it.

  • thanks, i love supportive people

  • love the sound... does it drone at highway RPM's?

  • actually its not to bad inside, if the radio is off you can still have a conversation if the windows are up ;) but hell talk is cheap right? :P

  • lol yea, true... did you end up using the 12in or the larger one? Oh and love your rims too... they look like Chrome ZR1 replicas. Im trying to get some too

  • ya its the big 12 incher haha makes it sound beasty.

  • cool. thanks for the info man. you got a mean sounding car... mines an LS1, but I hope with a similar exhaust system it'll sound similar. Keep ir real

  • yup anytime! i love the LS1 motor, it has a lot more top end then the LT1 but look into the race bullet and ive heard good things about GMMG enhaust. its spendy but sounds good on the LS1 motor. thanks for your support! live strong and kill mustangs! haha

  • haha thanks man! you too!

  • What city are you in? This looks like somewhere up north like clearfield or odgen.

  • i live in syracuse. thats down on gentile before it was all tore up haha

  • Kind of sounds like the Flowmaster 80 series when you open it up, sounds great!, I've been lookin' for an exhaust system that has that deep, baritone rumble like the Flowmaster but without the rattle..

  • That sounds niice ... is it a catback system...i'm looking too get something like that for my T/A... now i know thats the exhaust i'm gonna get!

  • wise choice ;)

  • holy shit dude this thing is a mean bitch!!!

  • Isn't this the exact same as the TSP Rumbler?

  • That im not sure of.

  • how would you compare this exhaust to the over expensive GMMG chambered exhaust and SLP Loudmouth cause im thinking about putting one of them on my 02 Trans am

  • I paid 700 for this system so i guess its rather spendy... im not really sure how much the SLP set up is, but ill tell you this much. ive raced people who do have SLP and my car just ROARS over theirs hahaha. the SLP sounds a little raspy as well. i would encourage you to go with this set up for sure. i will never go to another exhaust system. if you think it sounds good over the computer... real life is flawless. its the way an F body should sound. when i pass people they always turn their head

  • ill have to post a vid of what mine sounds like once i get it done. pacesetter headers, x-pipe into dynomax race bullets

  • Sweet. im buying this ASAP for my car

  • glad i could help buddy! you wont regret it!

  • ditto on that. i like how this has the same tone as the slp lm1 and isnt as raspy. it should sound pretty nice im running true duals off pacesetter LT headers into 2 dynomax race bullets

  • Isnt this a LS1 system? What did you have to do to make it fit? Im guessing it will only work on the 96-97 LT1s

  • they claim its an LS1 system but the cars arent very different at all underneath. you can get a bullet under there with no problem ;)

  • lol thats okay ive got the aluminum ones but i do like the chrome... how much?

  • im askin 600

  • oooh nice wheels I want those for mine I get my T/A LT1 6 spd 2 weeks from now.

  • ill sell em to ya, im getting some new ones. i dont really like this style of wheel. im more of a deep dish kinda guy. let me know if your interested.

  • very nice car. I also have an lt1

  • sounds alright kinda a cheap system. sounds just like every other lt1

  • find me an LT1 that sounds like this with a 50 state legal exhaust system. there isnt one that sounds as good as this.

  • i own an LT1 with a stock system. it's most definitely not this loud

  • in this vid the motor is stock, the exhaust is the only thing that is done. look in to the dynomax race bullet if your looking to do your exhaust. you wont be let down buddy.

  • How is your piping setup? true duels? stock Y? how many bullets do you have? were are they placed?

  • watch my other videos it shows the pipe, i just have one bullet, full cat back exhaust system. 50 state legal.

  • went to the Dynomax site and found the #19418 LS1 Bullet Race System, i am assuming that this is the one that you picked up and modified to fit. let me know, cause this is the one i am going with to get that sound and performance. thanks again for the response and the video, i know it helps guys like myself pick out this exhaust setup. thanks.

  • Im not sure what the part number is, i just know it had warnings all over it that said it was really aggressive and for track use only hahaha. if you get the dynomax racebullet your gonna get the right set up. make sure you use 3 inch piping all around and you will get this exact sound. I'm glad i can help, your going to love this exhaust it sounds sooooo sweeeet!

  • is your bird LS1 or LT1? are you running true duals or just a cat-back? i went to Dynomax website and saw a catback with the race bullet for the LS1 but no LT1? did you get a custom exhaust built? i contacted Dynomax to see if they can give me some advice/help, and now just waiting for them to get back to me. could you post a video of your system from underneath the car. i am going to get me a Dynomax setup for sure. thanks and great video!!!!

  • Just the LT1, its just single tube back, im making a new vid today. ill post it up for you so you can see what she looks like from underneath. this system is for the ls1 i believe but it doesnt take much at all to make it fit. its s sinch. ill have a video up for you soon broski! check back with me later today or tomorrow and ill have it up for sure.

  • the sound is awesome!!! did you get the cat back and just have the bullet in the place where the muffler would normally be or did you have it before the axle? i just got a 93' Formula and i want that deep aggressive roar!!!

  • its 100 percent legal! it has both cats still. the only thing thats done in this vid is 3 inch all the way around. im in the process of making another vid with the mods ive recently done. its changed the sound alot more. its just stock in this video. ill be expirementing with headers here pretty soon so stop by again in the future! dynomax race bullet is the best sounding exhaust sytem for these cars. i know from expierence. ive had em all.

  • CORVETTE

  • Thanks for the comments on my video...yours sounds good too..gotta love dynomax bullets

  • Thanks for all your help Bro. Again, awesome ride!

  • Anytime brother! come back and visit, i just ordered a few more goodies the other day so we'll see how much more HP they add.

  • I asked what kind of HP this would give me on the tech help on there web site, here is what they replied to me in an email...

  • haha ya their not lying man its very aggressive. youd be really happy with it. dynomax has me sold on it. its going on every car i purchase that i want to make sound like a BEAST! haha good luck to you bro. hope you find what your lookin for

  • Hey, thanks for the advice. I had a 96 identical to this one with a flowmaster on it (minus the WS6 wheels you have on yours). It sounded alright, but dont think I want another flowmaster. I just sold it a couple weeks ago, and am looking for a different exhaust for the new one I just got. I have ruled out magnaflow. I guess I am torn between Borla and dynomax. I am looking for the best sound and HP I can get out of it.

  • my buddy has a camaro with borla on it and my TA sounds soooo much better than his does haha. i promise you if you get dynomax you wont be upset. if you do any exhaust tho make sure you do 3 inch all the way around, itll help the air flow alot. as far as HP goes, no exhaust really is going to give you a noticable difference... consider dynomax tho, i mean just at an idle you would mistake my car for a car that had all sorts of mods done to it.

  • The exact name of my exhaust is The Dynomax Race Bullet so you can research it a little more if you want.

  • How much extra HP did that exhaust give you?

  • You got any other mods on that other than the exhaust?

  • shes totally stock right now, but i notice a big difference with this exhaust. i went from magnaflow to flowmaster to dynomax and i can tell you hands down from having had all of them put on dynomax has given me the most performance. and the sound is just so crisp and throaty! i wish everyone could hear it in real life. maybe ill invest in a better camera and make another vid. as HP goes it probably gave me between 5 and 10. it cost about 700 for the exhaust. invest in it if you have one.

  • dream on hooker.
