That's a Gibson Les Paul Deluxe and if the aging is correct it is from the mid 1970. I have a Goldtop Deluxe from that same era. They are the hated Norlin "pancake" models that fetch high prices on Ebay now. I guess their age makes them more desirable.
The mini pups are too cool and sound different than the full sized models. Listen to johnny Winters and get an earful.
I wish she played about 5 different licks in that time span. I like to play along with folks on the net but I wandered here.
Good lesson as always Jenn...whats amazing is how good the "licks" sound, and when it's broke down its an easy lick to do..loved it keep up the good work!!
I keep meaning to comment on this - I really don't like the way you have your voice panned to one side, it makes my ears feel unbalanced or something :S
Thanks for the lesson, very easy to understand and follow.

I agree on the sound, even mono would be better. It would be nice to hear her demonstrate her licks briefly to a backing track also.

I tried it, and it's cool.
I changed it up by hittin the C on the G (5th fret) sting and and bending it up a bit.
Thats the cool thing about blues. You use what ya know and change things all the time.

Keep the good stuff comin Jen! :)
