Well. I am from Pakistan and during these events people tend to get a grab at things which are popular like ice-creams, fish, rice ... things majority likes to eat at these events.

So they have this thing in mind that they wont get a chance again. Its sick if you ask me. I usually wait when the rush is over. And when the rush is over it brings nothing to eat :)

So yeah, I know its real :D

Its not about the ice cream love nor its about ice cream for the first time. Its the norms of the society, which were set by some ignorant group of people. As you can in the video that the ice-cream was more than sufficient to serve all the guests, however in Pakistan if someone stays behind then people title him as simple person or "Chutiya". So you can say that you have to get as bad as everyone to say with everyone.
