sonic is way better. in this fight he won "only" by two lives, but thats because mario is powered up and sonic is powered down. like mario can throw fire balls has FLUDD and does weird flag waving and fire blasting, which he doesn't actually do. sonic on the other hand is much slower than sound here and his homing attack is a joke. it takes forever to charge and you can't repeat it, lol!

Sorry, I have to disagree.

Sonics FS is worse, because the CPU will still be hitting you when you are off the screen.

This is probably an issue in the CPU, it's programmed to go to the coördinates of the easiest target.

So he already has a autoaim, which is a big advantage, because a normal player could never aim so well at such a high speed.

And since the CPU's are not build on vision but on coördinates, they always know to go where, even when youre offscreen.

My sister plays as him - (note it's a pink thing, but it's still supposed to be a guy) - and I always hate it.

She always just spams hammer and flies up in the air, and turns into block.

It's so irritating, because hammer gives a 20%, and block really gives a big launch.

@KingofJ95 My idea would be that when sonic activates his FS, sonic would vanish and a pointer would appear at the bottom of the screen. It would be about 1/10 of the screen wide, and would be pointing up.

The player can move the arrow around at the bottom of the screen, and when they press A, sonic does a superfast uppercut from the bottow of the screen to the top of the screen. Any player in the path of the uppercut takes about 60% damage, and everyone above 40% damage is ringed out.
