  • actually i think go your own way and silver springs r the 2 best fleetwood mac songs ever this one is up there too

  • how bout dreams mangggggggggggggg

  • one i like

  • Hey, does anyone know if this song was ever used in a film or TV show? When I listen I get the inkling that it was used in something in the 80s, but I can't quite think of it. Maybe I'm on the really wrong track though.

  • Mick Fleetwood, Mick...not John!!!

  • Mick? Not John!!,Mick. Ok... Mick...

  • Good song! Thanks for posting and to BB for sending!

  • Nicks and Buckingham were the Americans in this group: John Fleetwood and the McVies

    were English.

  • Good song to listen to with your woman!!

  • listened to this in 1978 up to this day..best fleetwood song ever made....the memories are hauntingly good.....

  • i love fleetwood mac there the greatest in the world it reminds me of when i was a child when my dad was still a part of our life. he use to ride me around in a big green LTD and i was so small i rode IN the steering wheele thats one of the most vivid memories of me and my dad before he left so when i here them i get a warm feeling.

  • It makes me happy listening such great music of the past.

It makes me sick thinking about the garbage played on mtv these days.

  • OMG!!! I love me some Lindsey Buckingham!!! NOTHING OR NOONE LIKE HIM!!!

  • I want to hear any song where Lindsey is singing Lead, but I don't have time to go through ALL the Fleetwood Mac Videos. So any of you die hard Fans know songs with Lindsey inging lead, please send them my way!! Thanks!!

  • Man ..he looks just like I'd wanta look if I was a rock guitarist ...finger pickin fool...

I'd like to have that hair , considering I'm bald; for just a day...

  • This song has sad lyrics.

  • white album was great-i think i like it more than rumours(close call)

  • ur right same gimmick but rumours more polished...but like white cause more raw...

  • Joe Walsh never played in Fleetwood Mac. That would be Bob Welch.Yes,this is definitely not early Mac.The early band of Peter Green,Jeremy Spencer,Danny Kirwan,Fleetwood and the McVie's leaned more toward blues and sounded virtually nothing like the later ensemble.Except for Christine McVie's knack for writing top 40 songs, this later band was the Lindsey Buckingham show. His musicianship and production skills are all over every cut. Then when he left, they tried to replace him with two guitarists

  • Yea, it was not the same without Linsey in the band. The guitarist was pretty good, but not so with the guy to sing for Linsey.

Hey, you guys may be interested on how to make $300 to 4K per month. Just reply to my comment. There is a guy in Cal who charges $12 for what I tell you for Free.

    --

  • this is a good song but i like blue letter and go your own way better

  • This is great Power Pop song, probably my favorite Fleetwood Mac song

  • To whoever thought this was EARLY Fleetwood Mac.....in various incarnations they go all the way back to the Sixties....Joe Walsh played with them then...Mick Fleetwood and the McVie's have been a constant.

  • Fucking amazing song!!

It seems just alright when it starts but then it kicks into the chorus and BAM!!

This is one of my favorite Fleetwood Mac songs.

  • One of my favorites too! 1977 Fleetwood Mac concert at the fabulous Forum was the 2nd concert I went to. Such great memories from my early teen years.

  • this is one of my favourite fleetwood mac songs :-)

  • There's no question Lindsey had a huge influence on Fleetwood Mac.

This is one of my favourite early Fleetwood Mac songs.

You can hear echoes of this song in 'Second Hand News', which is found on the Rumours album. Same jangly guitar and very similar melody.

  • Great song. Hardly an early one. The had 7 albums out at leat by this. Peace on,,,,,,,

  • I believe this was the first album with Lindsey and possibly Stevie and it's certainly the one that made constant radio play...so in that respect it's early popular Fleetwood Mac. It's the point many poeple caught on. Don't mean to be persnickety about it...just know it was the first time I went whoa!!! peace.

  • He was an above average singer when he was young. Saying this as a Lindsey Buckingham fan, his voice didnt age well. Plus I'd say he's an underrated guitarist/musician by most non-fans.

  • one of my favorites:))

  • Love the pic 1:06-1:25...too cute! What a cutie he is, not to mention a truly underrated guitarist!

  • white album? the beatles

  • No. The album is called "Fleetwood Mac", but it has been nicknamed the White Album.

  • echt fetter text schade dass die zeiten vorbei sind obwohl ich sie nicht miterleben konnte

  • Mediocre drumming? Eye candy? Are you kidding?

They all complement eachother and are a great BAND. By the way, Lindsay Buckingham didn't do too well on his own.

  • You clearly have not heard what Fleetwood Mac was before Buckingham/Nicks joined.

  • mick fleetwood is a gifted, resourceful drummer

john mcvie is a rock solid bassist. he may be no john entwistle but he has some wonderful parts that complement the songs beautifully. see rhiannon.

christine mcvie wrote don't stop, songbird, over my head, and you make loving fun. she also won a melody maker award for her vocals on i'd rather go blind when she was in blue horizon.

stevie nick was very cute, but she also wrote dreams, landslide, and rhiannon

    lindsey rocks too

  • I understand what you're saying but i think they're all talented. Lindsey is just amazing..Great voice...all these clowns say he was an underrated guitarist but I think it's a known fact that he's great and I do hear him get guitarist praise BUT...he's not recognized enough for the great vocals..He has an amazing voice and chops and THAT is where the underrated comes in.

  • He was a guard in the NBA - Detroit, LAL and probably more teams. I think he's still playing.

  • What an uplifting, feel good piece of music! As always w/Fleetwood Mac! A very great band for there era! Yet still stands the test of time today! I havent listened to to them in many years & now this makes me weant to buy thier entire catalouge! All my albums from the late 70,s didnt survive the last 3 decades! But ive always felt that Lindsey Hunter is one of the most underated guitar players ever! genius! Not to mention the unparalled harmonies of the rest of the band!Thanx for posting! cheers!

  • Take it easy there skipper

  • Lindsey Hunter?

  • By the way, it's Lindsey Buckingham.

  • your gonna have that .

  • I agree with you, and his name is Buckingham, and yes, he is definitely a genius, and an underrated one to be sure. His vocals, his expressiveness overall, his lyrical prowess, his guitar playing, just brilliant.

  • I thought he looked like Jesus Christ in that movie, also.

  • on of there best songs

  • i dont miiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiind

    i dont miiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiind

rock on got to get some peace in my miiiiiiiiiiiind

  • per te dany

  • Great son and vid. Thanks for posting it.

  • This is one of the best songs by Fleetwood Mac, strangely, it never seems to figure in most of their best or greatest hit compilations.

  • This is of the best songs by Fleetwood Mac, strangely, it never seems to figure in most of their best or greatest hit compilations.

  • what year and what album is this?

  • 1975 album entitled Fleetwood Mac, sometimes called the 'white album'.

  • Great song! Although it's a little weird to notice how much Lindsey looked like David Koresh, hee hee.

  • Sometimes he looks like Jeff Lynn too.

  • Looks like a 1970s Robert Powell (played Jesus of Nazareth in the Franco Zefferelli film, and latterly DI Briggs in 'The Detectives' on UK TV).

  • Lyndsey is just awesome and so sexy lol then and now. Awesome song thx for posting it :)

  • Even though we like opposing schools in basketball I still love that were both Fleetwood mac fans. So thank you for putting these up

  • Who's your team... UConn? Rutgers? LSU?

And I'm glad you enjoy the songs. Thank you for coming here and listening.

  • UConn is my school im from ct

  • i agree with retro...bucks looks like jesus in the film (robert someone)...he also looks like a bit like a 70s footballer called socrates who played for brazil...he even looks a bit like kevin keegan...

  • He looks a bit like the guy who played Jesus of Nazareth in the 1970s....

  • Excellent!!Thanx!

  • very nice!

  • this song roks\

  • To all the Fleetwood Mac fans on "sevenwonders" web site........

  • I love rollin through the desert late at night goin back to Cali listening to this...:)

  • Lindsey Buckingham :)

  • wats his name ????

  • Its never the same without Stevie.

  • Lindsey Buckingham is another one of those very underrated guitarists. This is a really nice solo on this song.

  • Its nice to know someone thinks the same thing....always thought lindsey was underrated hes awesome solo but best with fleetwood mac....

  • hey people, lets not forget mr. mick and chrissy lol

  • he's not peter green but he's bloody good in a completely different sort of way...

...the way that appeals to a very wide audience and makes a very large amount of money.

i adore all fleetwood mac, including the 1976 varient.

  • This is beautiful pop

  • Thanks. 1972

  • Is this Peter Green or Lindsey B.?

  • It's L.B

  • Saw these guys in concert, sounded just like their albums--amazing.

  • Hey transworld20 do you mean just fleetwood mac in general or any other good classics?

  • hey im only 22 aswell and im still finding great classics from them, such as this one...Is there anymore I should know about?

  • 'Walk a thin line' and 'Thats all for everyone', are two of my favourites. Hope that helps!

  • Opening tune on the white album, ushering in the Lindsey and Stevie era of FM. What a great first taste.

  • but i dont miiiiiiiiiiiind i dont miiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiind got to get some peace in my mind.......

  • Great song. A precursor of sorts to "About a girl," by Nirvana.

  • A great classic

  • Peter Green isn't even authorized to carry Lindsey's guitars~

  • There is not a better guitar player in this world then Lindsay Buckingham! Just has God gave us his awesome talent HE also gave us Stevie Nicks 'uncomparable' AWESOME voice! Thank you God for the gift of Lindsay & Stevie

  • GREAT SONG!

  • Damn, that guitar solo sounds just plain bad ass.

  • LOVE THIS SONG!!!!!!!

  • I Think this is One of Lindsay's Best!

But it's so hard to pick a Favorite

    From So many Great Tracks=)

  • Lindsey Buckingham is the heart and soul of Fleetwood Mac, great guitarist.

  • For one thing, he deserves credit as a masterful producer to have perfectly arranged all of Stevie's and Christine's hits, to which he contributed some brilliant and memorable guitarplay as well. He's a great talent, as is everyone else in the band.

  • Bad ....... Bad that the song is so short :( :)

Another great Song from Fleetwood Mac

  • John McVie's bass riffs are impossible to miss here also.

  • his voice is just sooooooooooo awesome

  • I love Lindsey, he's hot. Love his song "Trouble"

  • But some of the pictures tell me: "who stole my stash?"

  • One of my all time favorites - can't tire of it.

  • comparing clapton and gary moore is like comparing gershwin and beethoven. and chet atkins could flat dust all of those limey bluesman wannabes!!!

  • Peter Green a 'Bluesman wannabee'? oh my ...

  • BTW, I have upmost respect for Lindsey, but Peter Green was just so much better. And Clapton used to be called "God", but Gary Moore can outplay him 10 fold. Go to Gary's Red House, Still Got The Blues, or any other song he does. Clapton is way overrated. Peace, Mr. Green.

  • You have obviously had very limited listening to Lindsey's catalogue.

  • By choice.

  • How about replacing Lindsey with Peter Green? He started FM. Then again, he got messed up really bad, but is playing again. He would put Lindsey to shame in his younger days and Lindsey can play!

  • my favourite lindsey song ever...remember it from when i was little in the 7o's..my parents loved fleetwood mac...lindsey is very underated

as a guitarist ..john mcvie, and mick fleetwood are a legendary rhythm section as well...rock on!

  • I agree ROCK ON~~~

  • classic!

    rock on Lindsey!

  • A classic!!

  • love this song becuase it is Kool

  • cooool song

  • anyone that thinks lindsey can't flat play the guitar is unaware of who they were going to get to replace him... Clapton!!!

  • or...maybe the guy that played the nerd in "WHERE THE HEART IS"..what was his name in the movie...hmmm...

  • a Fleetwood Mac movie is WAY overdue!!!

  • I would watch it!

  • I think the Croation guy in ER would make a good Lindsey in a movie...ya' think?

  • You only want me when I get over you....

    how true.

  • Buckingham-Nicks the best ever!

  • I'm going out on a limb to say that C McVie was better than Stevie...I know...eat my words...but Chris rocks!

  • I total agree...I love McVie!But ya gotta love Lindsey he is one of the best guitarist ever, that song 'Go Insane' is awesome live! Best band ever to bad they split.

  • Around 1:30, Lindsey looks just like Jeff Lynne.

  • Buckingham is a very undedrrated artist. What an incredible songwriter.

  • but i dont miiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiind idont miiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiind got to get some peace in my mind................ ya hasta love the lyrics ! mwa hahahaha!

  • first you love me than you get on down the line, i love it!!

  • love this song Lindsey becomes one with his guitar, would love to see him live, great talent!!!

  • This song has been overlooked a lot, but I think its a real jewel. Its up on my Fleetwood Favs. I listen to it every time i get up on monday morning and don't wanna go to skool and it makes me feel better.

  • Is Lindsey the best or what, I claim it should have been Lindsey Mac

  • I have only one problem with this song: It's too dam short!

Other than that, it's one of my fav's. Ok ... I'll take my beating now.

  • the album was called 'Fleetwood Mac'. you hardly ever hear the band referring to it as 'the white album'.

  • oh yea - the Mac is the best!

  • what can you say? what a great band.

  • Lindsey, the rockers to today look up to you!! Rock on!!

  • ""Great song, but I always thought it was Christie singing it!"" ... has to be the most unintelligent

thing I have ever heard!!! ... hehe

  • It does sound similar to her and in her style

  • This was one of Lindsey's best songs and Fleetwood Mac never plays it. I wonder why.

  • I truly love to read the comments by all of these "kids". They act like their parents didn't teach them about "ROCK 'N' ROLL HOOCHIE KOO"

  • I love fleetwood mac! i have looked all over (monday morning) its one of my favorite songs.

  • You too eh.. You wouldn't believe how hard I looked to find this song, I even called a radio station.

    cool song, catchy beat too...

    Cheers,

    Art Ottawa CANADA

  • fleetwood mac is one of the best bands ever in my opinion

  • I'm sorry. But theres no way i could understand how you thought it was anybody but LB. His voice is one of a kind like stevies. oh well maybe its just me

  • Great song, but I always thought it was Christie singing it!

  • You're weird :p

  • Great job. I remember when the album came out, Monday Morning was my favorite song from it. Thanks for posting this I enjoyed it.
