Glad to see the tracks up and running again. Now if someone could buy this track from Bruton Smith we could really see the track fixed up and modernized to todays standards. I doubt Bruton would ever let that happen though...

@NrdsWthGns It was always a sell out crowd when nascar went there, to speedway was shut down because the 2 owners of the track wouldnt come to an agreement for refused to part or share out the track so they took the race off the nascar schedule and shut it down and replaced North Wilkesboro races with Burtons texas motor speedway and New Hampshire. It was simply closed down just because the owners of the track didnt get alone nor would agree on anything, so they left the track on the back burner

@91TransAmKid I say NASCAR needs to replace NH with NW..new hampshire is some of the sorriest racing of the year..NASCAR should atleast split NH 2 dates between the 2 tracks.

@MartyLovesSamantha doesnt matter to them, nascar has moved past this speedway. Nascar has changed so much since 96. Its all about corporations, money, (GREED) celebrities. Its why the cars look ugly as hell today, why nascar is moving on to (FUEL INJECTION) next year. If i was running nascar, i wouldnt be near what it looks like today. I knew brian france jr was a mistake lol.I would bring back the old points system for the championship. Whoever came up with the THE CHASE was smoking crack.
