Kvitova is still not very consistent in her winning streak. One minute she seems to be improving, then next she loses. The biggest problem with women's tennis is the lack of a convincing dominant young star who could lead the tour once all of the veterans retired. Although Kim's still only 28 and Serena seems to be not ready to give up yet, both of them represent the older and more experienced generation & won't be around for long. Maria's doing well but still suffers from inconsistency.

Womens matches have become so entertaining. A lot of matches at Sydney were 3 setters, but GOOD 3 setters. Tennis was so fun to watch. Plus, the field at Sydney showed how matches should pan out during the AO. A lot of tight matches.
