  • Keep mocking, hooting and braying, Democrats - all you're doing is throwing gasoline onto a fire which will inevitably become a raging inferno and consume you.

Liberal elites are displaying an absolutely disgraceful level of disrespect toward a huge section of the population in what could perhaps be the biggest political strategy mistake in US history. They're blind drunk on their recent election victory and are burning all of their bridges in a fit of bloated arrogance. Bye bye in 2010!

  • * Liberal elites are displaying an absolutely disgraceful level of disrespect *

Um. Since when did ultraconservatives care what liberals thought about them?

    * Bye bye in 2010! *

Your side really seems to think you're in the majority, despite all the polls and all the evidence to the contrary. Don't be too shocked if the American people still vote Democratic in 2010. Obama approval ratings are still well over 60%.

  • What makes you think the Tea Party events were composed only of "ultra conservatives"? The point is that those who are worried about the direction Obama is taking us are seeing just how contemptuous the Obama administration is of them.

Also, listen up. 53% of the voters chose Obama, well before they realized just how left wing his agenda would be. Many of those who won the election for him were independents and centrists, many of whom are now changing their opinion of the guy. See u in 2010.

  • *What makes you think the Tea Party events were composed only of "ultra conservatives"?*

I wasn't talking about the people at the tea parties, I was talking about you -- because you're the one who is upset that Carville isn't being nice to the tea partiers. But, for what it's worth, I do believe that 90% or more of the participants at those tea parties are conservatives, most of whom vote Republican. it's just kind of obvious.

  • wow, you can observe footage of crowds and determine these things? I am always amazed how liberals use information they pull from thin air to bloster their omnipotence.

James Carville beclowns himself yet again. He should just go ahead and start wearing the face makeup and the big red rubber nose.

  • If I see a large gathering of pro-life people waving arounds signs of aborted fetuses, I'm going to guess that they are probably mostly Republican. If I see a bunch of union organizers picketing outside a business, I'm going to assume most are Democrats. And so on.

Quit being obtuse. You're obviously not stupid, so the real question is why you are acting stupid and pretending that most tea partiers weren't Republicans bitter and miserable about having lost the election last November.

  • I'm sure you didn't attend any events. You have only seen the limited coverage/mocking done by our media. Somehow you come up with figures you

    believe to be true.

Could it be that some in attendance were independents or even democtats bitter and miserable in regards to how Obama is running the country now? I recall protesters that were bitter and miserable about losing an elecetion. It was the democrats/liberals for the last 8 years

  • *It was the democrats/liberals for the last 8 years*

I'll give you that point: I was one of them. Especially after the Supreme Court cancelled the 2000 elections and appointed Bush president. But we remained loyal citizens and worked within the system to bring about change. It took six years, but we were successful, and I'm pretty happy with the results.

Most Americans are, too. The opposition, while vocal, is concentrated on the far right.

  • *Could it be that some in attendance were independents or even democtats bitter and miserable in regards to how Obama is running the country now?*

Absolutely -- no question about it. But only a tiny fraction of those in attendence would fit this description.

The vast majority of both Democrats and Independents approve of the job Obama is doing.

  • I wouldn't say "vast majorty" The margin of highly approve and highly disapprove is near 0 now..

and look what the protests accomplished: Obama trimmed a WHOPPING $100 million from his record $1.85 trillion budget deficit this year. /sarc off

That amounts to a family making $60K a year trimming $6 from their budget.

That 52-48% win he/dems had in last election will not be that hard to overcome Nov 2010

  • That doesn't make them "ultra conservatives" and of course, most of the participants were Republicans for it is they who generally don't support big government and high taxes. But there were also a lot of libertarians and independents there too. As well as some Democrats who regret the Obama agenda now.

  • Actually, more Americans identify themselves as conservatives than liberals - always have done, always will do. It was the independents who won the election for Obama and they were fooled by the MSM into thinking that Obama would be a pragmatic centrist. They were wrong and Obama is losing support among them. Opposition to him is growing. Obama's "approval INDEX" as measured by Rasmussen is now only 1%. Go look it up!

  • Rasmussen is a right wing group and actually gave money for G. Bush's re-election in 04. They ask questions in a way to get a desired right wing result. Look that up!

  • the dems must be craping their pants if they have to sic carville on the protesters.

  • So Carville - a.k.a. "Skeletor" - thinks it was just a bunch of old white people. He obviously didn't go to one or watch a station with fair and balanced coverage. Most Dems are not delighted with it - they are infuriated. Who cares about that so-called "tax cut" - in the form of a tax rebate of $400 per year. What difference is a few hundred dollars going to make over a year's time - especially when electric rates skyrocket as well as fuel costs? They still don't get it.

  • James Carville nice try you assmunchingmonkeyfucker you are a joke.

  • James Carville, the shit disturber for the Democrats.

  • Taxes? the tea party wasn't just about taxes, it is about holding the butt puppets in Washington accountable for wasting and lining their pockets, with all our money, those assclowns should all be in prison, teabagging each other!
