He's the vocalist of a very popular Japanese band, Anzenchitai in the 80's. I know he got married and devorced. But not sure right now! He's also well-known in HK cause almost all of his songs in the 80's have Chinese covered version, sometimes more than one. He's 49 now, so he should be much older than he looks in this video.

Romance in Japanese is either "ro-ma-n" or "ro-ma-n-su" so you are partially correct. Roman as in Italy would be "ro-o-ma" meaning Rome the city. So you would add "no hito" or "jin" for some one from Rome. If you are referring to Roman as in a style, "ro-o-ma teki" or something like that. This song means Romance, no doubt.

No problem. If you have Asian Language installed on your PC and know how to type Japanese characters, you can go to dictionary dot com and go to the translator page. Select Japanese to English and type the title of this song into it. You'll get Romance.  Of course, for katakana, things are never definite as foreign words are added all the time. It's great that non-Japanese are interested in J-Pop and J-Rock. Hang loose.
