why does it need the metal parts to be so close before the spark starts ? why doenst it start like a tazer ? I'm just asking because after the spark is created you can separate the 2 metal parts keeping the spark
@Aqlor Voltage dictates how close the electrodes have to be to start the arc. Current dictates how much you can draw out the arc. So you might have, say, 1000 volts at 1 amp. You would have to get the electrodes to about 1mm apart before the arc would start, but it could be drawn out to enormous length-at least a foot
this looks like the horror film Susperia with that red wall paper and the evil electrical arcs, that are probably used to sizzle the nipples of school girls who've come to learn how to ballet dance before being dropped into a room full of spring... you probably have to have seen it to appreciate that
In youtube I saw this video and I found your comment to be very weird. Can you explain precisely how is it possible that the room was full of energy? Was it an over-voltage accident?
so basicly you use the microwave transformers to step up the voltage? do you use mains supply? could i create arcs by putting stepup transformers in series? whats a choke? why do you use a capacitor in arc generator? please reply i always wanted to create an arc generator and i have a bit of electronic knowledge but as youve seen not enough
@nicholasgonzalez yes you can use mains electricity and transformers from old microwave ovens a choke can be used to filter certain frequencies or as a ballast to limit current beware microwave oven transformers are EXTREMELY DANGEROUS and if you get shocked by one you almost certainly will die
@randomsrvapps Funny I had a thousand watt ballast And it shocked me but it was very minor had two of them in series. Guess I'm lucky. My buddy said well thats a good way to die.
