OMG !! i was there when it was under construction !! for laast christmas ! it wasn;t that bad it was still beautiful and super fun !!!

Did either of you BOTHER to READ THE BLOG? Of COURSE it's a beautiful place. Honeymooned there! Been there 5 times since! LOVE the Whaler! This is about OWNERS choosing NOT to DISCLOSE when booking is made, and to be DULY WARNED if, like me, like most people, you're not a big fan of vacationing at a courtyard and pool that has become a construction zone. That's all. And by the way, many at our blog have replied THANKING us for the info. Jaspo, good luck! Hope the noise doesn't bother you.

I have stayed at the Whaler in Maui for many years . It is a beautiful place with a very helpful and courteous staff. Every place has construction to stay updated and to keep the grounds nice for years to come. It is very disappointing when people like Steve and Judy Lewis have nothing better to do then to complain about everything. I think time on vacation in Maui is much better spent on the beach relaxing with a Mai Tai. Please do not ruin such a beautiful place for the rest of us. Thank you.
