You're certainly playing the right notes in the right order. Theres just no feeling. I think your timing is a bit poor. Have you listened to it much or are you just playing it from sheet music? Well done if you're playing it by ear - it just sounds a bit wooden if I'm honest.

Beautiful piece, lovely arrangement.

In terms of performance you do rush the rhythms quite a bit, and I personally feel many of the melody notes are too staccato. But hey, just my two cents.

Hey, pianomike1, this theme, as I'm sure you're aware, is from the Joan Hickson Miss Marple series. It is interesting to note that not only is she regarded as the definetive Jane Marple, but also Dame Agatha once told her she wanted her to play the spinster sleuth. Ms Rutherford played the part with more humour, which just wasn't right for the character.
