  • /D7jAIdoORxI this is correct form.

  • ROW ROW FIGHT THE POWA!!

  • dumble.....................DORE!

  • The instructions for this exercise are wrong. If you watch any video of people doing this exercise you'll see that none of them lift the elbow past the height of the torso/elbow, but here its lifted way past it, which could only be done if lifting very light weights.

  • ROW ROW FIGHT THE POWER!

  • I'm confused how this is a back exercise, it feels like a full body exercise. I feel it in my abs, both arms, my thigh.. maybe I'm using too heavy of a weight?

  • i use my bed xD

  • @22kamikazi Yep, me too :D

  • @LawrisZ ;)))

  • use your bed ;)

    or 2 chairs ;)

  • I don't have a bench. How do I do that then?

  • @TheMisterKibe

Grab a low table and place a towel onit :D

  • @skateeea I don't have a low table. "/

  • i cant feel it at the top of the lat i only feel it down on the bottom am i doing it right or is it wrong

  • i feel it in my teres major...

  • for some reason my shoulder socket hurts alittle after doing a set for each arm. am i doing it wrong?

  • @flipbulance you could be doing it wrong. I had the same problem until I watched the Jedd Johnson from diesel crew does them. When u grab the db ur suppose to bring ur shoulder up kinda like a shrug and keep it in that position then do ur db rows so u don't hurt ur rotater. I know that sounds weird but you will understand what I mean if u go to jedd johnson's utube page and see how he does db rows. Hope that helps u out.

  • @jkerns85 you mean squeeze my shoulders back together and then do the db rows? so the whole time I keep my shoulder tense while doing the reps?

  • @flipbulance Yea exactly!!! U said it better than me lol. Also when get time check out jedd johnson at diesel crew. I think you will like it. good luck with ur training.

  • ROW ROW FIGHT THE POWAH

  • Dumble LOL

  • Should my weight be on my left leg or right leg?

  • @asskicks you have to do it on both sides

  • thanks for sharing this video kind :)

  • dumbil lol

  • I always forgot how to do this with a dumble . Thanks for posting!

  • This is incorrect biomechanics. Very simplistic explanation. But one performing this exercise should bring the dumbbell back in an arching motion in order to achieve full dumbbell extension. When the elbow is brought straight up, it reduces torque at the elbow joint & puts stress on the elbow joint, further reducing lat activiation. For a proper explanation of the dumbbell row, see NESTA's explanation

  • I can't type apparently. I meant to say it reduces shoulder extension, & torque at the shoulder joint is reduced.

  • @jdjprimer19

i agree with you mate. the movement shown is not natural at all. not only what you said, but the video also doesnt take into account individual differences in bicep length and other anatomical differences of diferent individuals

  • Comment removed

  • @856893tfr Yeah, I know. It's a shame there is so much misinformation when it comes to proper technique.
