@MegaNightprince basically both are right, the american subs operated in so-called Wolfpacks of 2 to 3 submarines, however, the german subs were also known as the "Grauen Wölfe" (grey wolfs). The german tactic of harrassing convois with larger groups or Rudel (packs) of subs gave them that name as far as I know

I'm just reflecting about a reupload of this video after reaching 10,000 clicks. Of course in HD and with a background image, also including the missing lyrics at the ending. What do you think about this idea?

I wrote this warning more than 1 year ago when I uploaded "Rise of Evil". At that time my video descriptions consisted of just one line with a minimal piece of information, the focus was set on the video itself. The warning was written within 1 minute to prevent inappropriate comments and it seemed to work so I never changed it. Of course it is one-sided but as I said, it has not been required yet.

Es ist eine inhaltliche Übersetzung, klar klingt es dann oft nicht so gut. Ich habe ja auch nie gesagt, dass ich das Lied auf Deutsch neu schreibe, ich übersetze nur den Inhalt. Und eine Wort-für-Wort-Übersetzung ist es nicht, nichtmal bei meinen ersten 4 Videos, obwohl ich da für die Übersetzung nur halb so viel Zeit verwendet habe und manche Sachen holprig klingen. Aber ich denke, ein Deutscher, der keinen Dunst von Englisch hat, kann mit diesem Video schon was anfangen!

In WW2 German submarines operated in "wolfpacks", a group of u-boats attacking together. This song is about the wolfpack "Hecht" (pike), which was very successful when it met the convoy ONS-92 and sunk a lot of it's ships.

* Die drei mit dem Stern sind Alben mit "Kriegsliedern" und unbedingt zu empfehlen, die anderen beiden sind größtenteils Lieder mit den typischen Power-Metal-Themen, die auch gut sind, die Tonqualität aber leider einige Schwächen hat.
