Looks good. People who say it doesn't look good, just want the others who visit here to think they are special and superior... but someone who is truly special and superior such as myself, has nothing to lose by being honest... it's a slick little flier! Thanks.
@LaneBeckhart If i knew what spore was you could say I copied it. However this is purely the creation of my imagination, whatever the inspiration for that would be.
I would put the nozzles to blow on the top of the wings instead to create more lift. VTOL capability would still be maintained with regular flaps thanks to the coanda effect.
Looks nice, i would put the nozzles without thrust vectoring to blow above the wings instead of below to create more lift and flight efficiency, VTOL capabilty would still be maintained thanks using flaps thanks to the coanda effect.
All I can say is meh, there's no way this is a cost efficient method of travel in the future, but sure excellent design if the ground was made of nothing but 'fossil fuels'
@Sangasan2 Why does this have to powered by fossil fuels, there's enough research in fuel cell and solar technology to make this a viable option within the next 20 years. the biggest barrier to this is health and safety legislation. There's enough accidents on the roads without people killing themselves in flying machines. Can you imagine the driving test!
@MHunt1000 regardless, I still think a jet would need... you know... turbines which produce fire which produces thrust, so fuel cells would really not help unless they expelled some sort of pollution, so no there's no viable way this could work unless it was in space, but why would my car go in space...
@Sangasan2 A turbine is just a collection of high pressure fans, this could easily be driven by a fuel source other than oil. Either drive it with electric motors, or use hydrogen for fuel, which can easily be collected by electrolysis, powered by the sun!
@MHunt1000 I didn't say oil... Fossil Fuels, generalize any nonrenewable resource, they just typically refer to oil. If it's a possibility to have a new fuel that's cheap, sure great idea... We don't have this magic juice however, and are bound to our silly oil, coal, and natural gas. I wasn't focusing on the issue of the special fuel though, I was merely shooting down the silly notion that this " jet-car " could be fueled by the sun.
@Sangasan2 Anyway, everything's fuelled by the sun if you think about it. Coal and Oil are just solar energy stored in fossilised plants! We just need a quicker means of using the energy that doesn't take millions of years to cook!
@MHunt1000 What we need is the ability to harvest fusion power and create us an anti-gravity/fusion coil generator that could completely negate gravity and eliminate the fuel issue altogether. But then again there would be no next step to take, mankind has always had an objective, what would happen if all of a sudden we no longer have to conquer this "Green" issue, we would focus on immortality or something and never get around to living on some epic far-off space colony
@Sangasan2 Please read: The Demon-Haunted World: Science as a Candle in the Dark by Carl Sagan, so you can learn to distinguish between real science and pseudoscience.
@Sangasan2 Fusion power's a bit more unstable in the wrong conditions, Hydrogen tanks are pretty robust, and if punctured would just vent into the atmosphere as the gas is so light and would be at a harmless concentration within seconds.
@MHunt1000 But what about traveling in space, there's no way you could do that with Hydrogen, there's no way to store all the fuel, but then again we ARE shortsighting this to a car on earth... how unnecessary.

Dear All,
I have some questions about psychology:
(1) Why do we love flying?
(2) Why do we enjoy to drive a flying car?
(3) How will we benefit from flying car in the coming future?
(4) How will we use a flying car? (eg. travel oversea holiday, shopping...etc)
THANK YOU IN ADVANCE for your creative ideas and brainstorm!!! :)
