just because rolex company say they wont service their watches with aftermarket parts dosnt mean that you have to take it to them just find a good watchmaker who is experienced on servicing rolex watches. i have done it the past with no prolems at all. rolex just wants to keep their consumers wrapped around their fingers

yeah alot of jewelers do jack up their prices on after market parts but if you do want a diamond bezel and dial do your research and keep your original parts. w-precision

The reason why dealers love to push aftermarket parts is because its easy to sell to suckers because it looks flashy. But the truth of it is the dealer is doing themselves the favor and not the buyer by making a killing on an obscene markup on all that aftermarket crap. Rolex will not service any of their watches that have aftermarket parts installed on them. Yes there are plenty of good independent watchmakers that will service them but not Rolex and that does matter to most people.

All the rolex on this site seem to have aftermarket dials on them. Very strange to see this big of a selection with dials like this. Makes u wonder why someone has converted so many watches. Even the submariners are all aftermarket dials with diamonds. Weird. Prices seem ok but who knows what other aftermarket parts these watches have on them...

If the watch is sold over the interweb it is gray market and Rolex will disown it. They will also not service if it has any aftermarket parts.
