That was wrong what they did in Ohio !! What a horrible thing to have happened ! In the same generation was the draft (for the vietnam war). And the lottery. My brother got a high #, but a few of my high school friends didn't come back, or if they did, were really too screwed up. I don't know if PTSD was yet accepted as an actual 'disorder' at that time. But If your parents had money to put you into college, you were exempt from the draft. Again, all a terrible terrible tragedy !!! LOL

I hear ya seems there were a few that some folks liked, Bob Dylan, Neil Young, Stevie Nicks, and Tom Petty. I like the music for most of them but just can't get past the vocals on some of the songs. They are legends to our generation though and some folks could say the same about Rush and Getty Lee's vocals. It's what makes the world go around I guess. This is a depressing song unless I just don't get the lyrics? We play it in our band set so I am burned out on it I guess.

49 is my age, started following Neil when I was about 17.

The man shows even more today that he still is original. Although I don't even play his music very often. New heroes come : Wayne Hancock is the man these days for me.

Neil has done a lot of different stuff, but as he once said it is all one song.

It is still great to see him play. My favourite records:

Greendale, broken arrow, fork in the road etc. I prefer the rougher version of Neil.
