Actually you want to hide on the ledge before you charge. (You should grab a beam rifle and kill the jackals one at a time.) You can shoot your beam rifle at the shade turrets and the grunts will come out. Kill them then snipe the brutes with the brute shots. Also ever thought about giving your passenger a better weapon? They work a whole lot better when you have a mass of them with snipers and rockets.

if you get a fuel rod cannon and shoot the shield barrier at about 3:30 it takes out the barrier

that way you can leave the dude if the turret and go back and BR those dam flying things

Finally, got that Legendary achievement about a week ago.I unlocked the E.OD. armor,It's gonna take some time and patience, but you'll get through it. Look for hints on Youtube and if you've located some of the skulls that may help too.

Gotta agree with ya. Makes the part with all the Jackal Snipers and Shade Turrets EXPONENTIALLY easier. Once he inevitably kicks the bucket, take the Fuel Rod, since you'll need it just as much for yourself later on, just like this guy did. That's what I do.

why waste time killing all the enemies in this section? wait till the phantom goes away and then drive through as fast as you can, not through the middle, but through the outside curve, and usually you'll make it alive to the next checkpoint. and if that proves difficult, then snipe out some enemies with your battle rifle or the beam rifle which can be found on some of the snipers just before this section.
