watching this video took me back to tampa and nauru island

tampa save my life but john howard put me on detention centre for about two years.

in thes two years i really worried about my life in detention there is too much presure on me there was no hope on our future there was a very very bad times i never forgot nauru and what the john howard done to us

as an australian citizen please dont put anyone in detention centre

@afghhazara Thanks for your comment. I would like to see these people moved into the country areas where they can work on farms .

We can solve two problems farmers have trouble finding workers and the refugees

could have housing built to house them .

This would also be a boost to the small towns with them living and shopping in the town.

We have to stop playing political football with refugees its just stupid to argue

about a few thousand people coming into Australia.

It's a waste of resources to detain these boat people offshore. As most of them end up staying anyway, and suggestions they're a security risk, presumably worse then those in our mainland prisons, are unsubstantiated and even cruel. Let governments, of either party, spend our money on better things then demonising the vulnerable for political points with a few swinging Hansonites.
