The Ships are Coming! (Names to the NEW Disney Cruise Ships)

Disney CL could have been more creative in naming the ships. Rather then using names already in use by Carnival. The Dream (2009), Magic (2011), Fantasy (1990). Disney Wonder seems to have been the only original name. Ships have character and the names should be different. Especially for a Corporation who's made millions happy by their creativity. Why not used the name Disney Aladdin, Disney Creation, Disney Star? Just a suggestion.

They will all launch at Port Canaveral. When the dream launches they have the magic and wonder sceduled to dock before the launch. Same with fantasy except dream will be passing fantasy on the way back from Castaway Cay

Where is disney planning on anchoring these ships? I know they almost relocated to tampabay but the dam skyway they say is actualy too low? 180ft clearance is not enough?

Anyway puting them on the other side of florida will realy help them unless they are aiming at the pacfic market.

I love the way cunard and disney still put a bit of time in the designing of their ships.

i am so excited...ive been before and i remember that they came around asking for names for the two new ships...i said Disney Fantasia and the Disney Hope since disney gives hope in their movies and fantasia for the classic combo of animation and music..obviously they did'nt chose them haha

Wait I am wroung Disney is coppying Carnival like: Carnival Fantsy and disney is going to be Disney Fantsy and Carnivals other ship is going to be the Carnival Magic just like the Disney magic thease cruise lines are being silly:D

I think that the cruise lines are running out of names because Royal Caribbean is in on it too! You've got the Liberty of the Seas and the Carnival Liberty, the Freedom of the Seas and the Carnival Freedom, the Legend of the Seas and the Carnival Legend, etc. It doesn't surprise me that Disney is getting in on this too.

Yeah I have noticed that Liberty of the Seas and all of that..Well..I guess now Carnival and Disney will have the same names now..

Disney Fantasy---Carnival Fantasy

Disney Dream---Carnival Dream

Disney Magic---Carnival Magic

The same as Royal Caribbean and Carnival..
