George was fatigued and Gerrard ran all over her in the last half. She should have put Barrett-Chase on and Put another shooter on for TuTiar cause she wasnt prepared to shoot long distance like she did in the Commonwealth Games She was the reason why they won that time. Netball is an awesome game... people always compare it to basketball. but there is way more contact in a netbal;l game these days then basketball... These ladies playing are some of the top players in the world... A basketball would have no chance against a netball on their court. A netball player can make the transition into basketball much easier.... Netball player's are faster and fitter then basketballers.

@mrbishboshful Yeah that's a good question, I think you need to shoot up and over in netball so that the chances of getting 'rejected' are far lower. It's much harder to defend a shot taken from above the head in terms of angles.

i play both netball and basketball and to be fair i don't think any game is easy. they are all equal difficulty.

This morning on British TV, I watched the breathtakingly exciting netball final at the Commonwealth Games between Oz and NZ. I was at the edge of my seat, it was THAT nailbiting. the defender had her arms up to defend the shot. you must be at least 3 feet away from the player (technically, from her grounded foot) before you can defend.

she was probably about a foot and a half away - too close - so she had to stand down.

on another note, i find american football pretty boring. i can't say i have ever gone to a youtube clip of football and detailed how boring it is in a comment, though.

SKY will not put on ANZ Champ games i have already called and asked, but if they did they would only make it available to Sky subscribers.

His name is Steve Robiliard and the only reason he commentated was because the ABC said they needed a man there. It didnt matter to them that he knew F##k all about netball.
