You are so wrong. First of all he did not check his equipment before they started recording - EPIC FAIL!. Second, he's fills is very repeative, and last and most important, his tempo and volume is variating not just a little, but very much.

The guitarists is great, turn up the amps, the peavey tube distortion is made to be played out loud. Get a bassist and a vocalist, send your drummer to a training camp and you're good to go.

i think u guys did a pretty decent job, and even tho the solo wasnt exactly the same notes, sounded ok for the most part. but u guys did scrwe up on the heavy part (2nd chorus thing at around 3:55), because on the part where u play triplets coming back down, u guys played it too fast. go listen to the song lol.
