My best friend and I made SO many levels for this game. I still have a disk of them, but I don't have the game to even see if the files are intact. It's a difficult game to find on eBay! Rarely comes up.
I loved the create a level function in this. I would just make a level full of shields and be totally invincible lol. Another really random thing I remember was the very top platform row was always a random neon colour.
@GamesEmotions i have some history belive it or not my dad made this game belive me when he was 8 (if your shocked so was i) he made it on a comador 64 copyed it passed it out to theses pepol in a collage class he was takeing on computer and the way he got into a collage class is it was a comuity class
Another game in the go around on platformers to and grab things is Jumpman/Jumpman Jr. If you like these type of games, this is one definitely to look into also.
I just wrote a post about this game on my games blog, Videogames of the Damned. Imagine my surprise when I find this! Thanks for taking the effort to film and upload. Mr. Robot's one of my favorite computer games from the '80s.

I guess I "wasted" a lot of my childhood playing games. The Atari 800 was the partner in crime for me :D

This was one of my favourites as well. I think I played all of the games my brothers didn`t like. Couldn`t you create your own levels in this one?

It can be considered a "Miner 2049'er" knockoff, but it did come with an editor so you could create your own levels.
richardhutnik 3 years ago
speaking of miner 2049er, does anyone have that on youtube?
fingersmcoy 3 years ago
Do a search for "miner 2049" in the above search window. I found a bunch there.
richardhutnik 3 years ago
yes, i was searching for miner 49er instead of 2049er. thanks.
fingersmcoy 3 years ago
Welcome. Anyone else see the similarities between the two?

i used to spend days and days creating my own levels with this game.
im not sure if i remember correct but if i recall correctly it was possible to record your own build levels on tape ?

I always felt that Nuclear Nick (by the same author) was better graphics and playability-wise, even though it didn't have a construction kit.
