@TheMadcroc23 we went to the tooth too, but I have no idea who my ranger was, all i remember was that she was the prettiest thing we saw for a couple weeks lol.
ours was "Chafey" yes... as if you were chafing... we only had him for a couple days, he took about a whopping 5lbs off each of our backs and was soo not worth the hassel
i searched forever to find a decent copy of it that I liked. None had quite the same "philmont ring" feel free to use a program of your choice to copy the song off this video
This is a great video of an obviously awesome trek. I'm leaving next weekend for Philmont to do the same trek (29). Thanks for a taste of what we're in for!
I am proud to say I watched all 8 minutes and 13 seconds of this video, and it turns out I thoroughly enjoyed it. There is so much beauty out there in God's creations-- you just have to go out there and look for it. I can't wait for the canoeing trip video!
well good luck. general rule of thumb, the higher the trek number the more strenous. we were trek 29 so ours will be about equal. You'll be spending a good amount of time walking depending on the conditioning of your crew, the one problem you might run into is getting to camps early enough for activities which close at 6 (more walking=lessfun=more you can brag)
hey guys i am going to philmont this year for my first time do u have any suggestions on what i should bring and what i shouldn't bring anything is greatly appreciated thanks just message me

i think we had on while on shafer's pass, we had to space out and sit on our packs for a couple hours in the rain.

we we're about a fourth of a mile away from a lightning strike, and had to hightail it to our next site. ahhhhhh good times.
