  • I go in 1week any helpful tips

  • Thanks for uploading. This video brought me back to philmont like no others on youtube.

  • Im not going til this summer its a ways away but I cant wait, I heard pocket rockets dont work will I need a whisperlite or do pocket rockets work

  • I'm going this summer! I am so excited!

  • Dude iam frm tx too looks like we both went to beaubien and clear creek exept i went on the tooth of time. But who was ur Ranger.

  • @TheMadcroc23 we went to the tooth too, but I have no idea who my ranger was, all i remember was that she was the prettiest thing we saw for a couple weeks lol.

  • 83 miles im doing like a 60 mile this summer... 83... crazy

  • my troop took itinerary 8. we were 727 foxtrot. you guys get any lighting storms?

  • i think we had on while on shafer's pass, we had to space out and sit on our packs for a couple hours in the rain.

  • we we're about a fourth of a mile away from a lightning strike, and had to hightail it to our next site. ahhhhhh good times.

  • You had a Burro too. We named ours Burt Reynallds

  • ours was "Chafey" yes... as if you were chafing... we only had him for a couple days, he took about a whopping 5lbs off each of our backs and was soo not worth the hassel

  • Hey Ryan, it's Reynolds

  • i jus got back from philmont and did this trek looks so familear and how did u get fire on the mountside

  • i searched forever to find a decent copy of it that I liked. None had quite the same "philmont ring" feel free to use a program of your choice to copy the song off this video

  • ha i did the exact same trek like 3 or 4 weeks ago it was AWESOME

  • This is a great video of an obviously awesome trek. I'm leaving next weekend for Philmont to do the same trek (29). Thanks for a taste of what we're in for!

  • I am proud to say I watched all 8 minutes and 13 seconds of this video, and it turns out I thoroughly enjoyed it. There is so much beauty out there in God's creations-- you just have to go out there and look for it. I can't wait for the canoeing trip video!

  • Just got back from Philmont. Amazing place.

  • how hard is this trip. I am leaving in 15 days and were doing trek 28

  • well good luck. general rule of thumb, the higher the trek number the more strenous. we were trek 29 so ours will be about equal. You'll be spending a good amount of time walking depending on the conditioning of your crew, the one problem you might run into is getting to camps early enough for activities which close at 6 (more walking=lessfun=more you can brag)

  • I'm going too. I'm so pumped.

  • hey guys i am going to philmont this year for my first time do u have any suggestions on what i should bring and what i shouldn't bring anything is greatly appreciated thanks just message me
