  • What an amazing machine! But then again, it's a Gleaner.

  • My family bought the 6th N6 on the factory floor in 1979, and have run nothing else but silver iron ever since. I love the fact that this new machine while being a class 7 will run right in there with the class 8. Only down fall to a Gleaner is they work the best when loaded up and ran right on the edge. As such you need to put an operator in a Gleaner while any ol driver can run a Deere or Case.

  • bushels per gallon? WTF?

  • @thequietrebel420 bushels of grain per gallon of fuel, you idiot.

  • It looks like some sci fi combine...

  • they have a very bad look

  • how about over 100 bushel wheat up here in washington st

  • i dont like it...where is the fucking cummins

  • @farmerbrown29 I hear ya

  • try 80 bushel a acre up here in MN

  • @gleanersuperseries Gleaner needs a class 8 combine north dakota wheat isn't like kansas wheat!! i got to run the S77 in north central north dakota running with class 7 john deerea and of course it was out preforming the green machines but it was having trouble out running a R-72 that was in the same field... yes the S7 had a bigger header but only by four feet... another thing gleaner needs to add more working space between the engine and the cage us gleaner guys like to mod up our machines amd

  • @colderweather3 and we like a little room to work with... our family runs four gleaner combines but i dont think we'll be making an upgrade till they make a class eight and change the engine compartment a little..

  • im a farmer from southern new south wales in australia, we run a masey ferguson 8780, we out harvested a nh 9080, just a few days ago in canola, it was exceptional considering we are nearly 300 horsepower less than the big bumblebee! the Super series gleaners look very nice, with a farmer near us owning an A85! id certainly entertain the idea of buying one of these in the future!

  • i´m a farmer from thuringia, germany. we run actually a case 2388. it´s doing things nicely. other guys round here mostly run claas lexions. but they only work well in small grain crops. they seemed to throw up in moist corn. would like to try a gleaner, but its hard to get one here in europe.

  • NICE!! my family has ran gleaners for 50+ years. im 15 and have been running a MH2 for five years. i would love to see this thing in action in Washtucna, WA.

  • The Black Paint looks cool. Maybe they should offer a stealth version, so the competition will quit calling it a Galvanize Hog Feeder. As for the comment of burnt looking. Well Gleaners rarely burn. In 40 years my family has never had one catch fire, but then again nothing burns like a Deere.

  • what's wrong with that auger design. It still holds the record for fastest unloading speed....

  • looks like it caught on fire and they really need to get rid of that auger style. still cant hang with a lexion.

  • @kinser7220 i like that auger design, we have it on our L2, simple, less crushed corn because of no upright auger, and fast, what more do you want?

  • @theduckthatswimson80 i want a combine that can go in any conditiong, go 6.5+ mph with a chopping corn head in 20% moisture corn and not miss a beat, not throw a kernel out the back and not have to watch the auger when i go through a waterway. i think the gleaners are ment for smaller farms.

  • @kinser7220 your nuts. most custom cutters use the r or now s series because of the cleanliness of the thrashing sysytem, so now a class 6 or 7 being able to handle the capacity of a class 8 with close to the same horsepower? i grew up john deere and started working on gleaners and hated them to start out with, but i have to hands down give it to these combines. They are in my mind the most superior thrashing machine built.

  • Hah, got that right 8010cookie!!!

  • Awesome design!!! GO GLEANER OR GO TO RANCHING MAN!!!

  • Looks great the only problem I have at looking at Gleaner is that there is no dealer around here ,I would have to go 100 miles one way. Not going to do that for a parts run.

  • Im a case IH man but the gleaner has always been able to walk that walk. They are a damn good piece of equipment.

  • @goodolbl Well said sir, I'm on the same page you are. I'm a IH man myself. Although after seeing this, I'm convinced that this is one solid combine. It appears to be ahead of its competition.

  • Is it true that one will be in Australia this harvest???

  • Sure hope to see it up here in Grand Forks, ND. be nice to show farmers up here what a REAL combine can do and looks like!

  • Cnat Wait to see it run in Colby, Ks in week or so

  • so wot are the specs???

  • We rode in the Super 7 at Thomas, Oklahoma. A very impressive machine, 45' cut at 6mph in 52 bu Wheat. I will consider the Super 7 for our farm, we are currently running a Gleaner A-75.

  • Looks impressive to me, been an CIH guy for a long time but wouldn't hesitate to give gleaner another chance.
