@HIO64 The cymbals are zildjian A custom projection crash and a zildjian K fast crash both are 16'. Choosing cymbals is very subjective. There are so many brands, and each brand has many you can choose from. Things you should think about when selecting is: budget, style of music you play, and of course use your ears. ask if you can sample the cymbals, and hopefully you make a good choice that suits you.

Sm57's are actually really good for toms, I have played them before. If you want something quality without spending a ton of moeny the sm57's would work really well
