Even today the game has fantastic graphics. I remember I bought the PS2 when it was brand new, for £300! This and smugglers run were the first games I got for it. They both had purple discs. I was utterly blown away by this game, I used to spend ages trying to catch amazing photos with the image capture. Heihachi, Jin and Kazuya were hands down my favourite characters. This game has a place in my heart, watching this brings me back to my childhood with my little brother. Such lovely memories :(

Yea NOT ONLY THAT WE MISS THE NEW LOOK'S, KAZUYA FIGHTING STYLE were much different than we have now! EXAMPLE: Kazuya spinning punch does 80% damage and if you are caught of guard his punch does 96% to 98% damage NO LIE! On the Tekken game's now the S.P does only 70% damage DEAD HONEST TRUTH! Kazuya also move's slower than the other character's also!
@Larh124 Not only that his dragon punch is much more powerfull in TTT also. And the enemy cant dodge it or get away from it by bending down. Kazuya was a hell of a fighter in TTT. Lesser moves than any other charakter but also the best moves. Fuck namco made him weaker in the next series.

these guys playing are really bad players... Those combos are really easy to stop and counter... Mishimas are great but not because of those silly combos

and tekken tags soundtrack is the best too. the newer tekken installments: there soundtracks are messy :s i suppose it's whatever genre suits the stage now, but i liked it when it was all the same genre with a different mood to it. I like that Jin's fighting style has changed. Before the first thought that came to mind about Jin was "man he fights just like Kazuya". Now i dont think that. He has a better fighting style than he did before.

@MrDataCode I actually like Tekken 6. Its a better version of 5. Tekken 4 was really horrible speed-wise. The graphics were nice. The backgrounds were improved. But the gameplay suffered.
I really enjoy Tekken Tag as well. But I think Tekken 6 is to the new Tekken series what Tekken 3 is to the old Tekken series.
Tekken 6 is something that has to grow on you. I never played much of Tekken 5. So I may not be a fair judge on that.

I've been playing this alot lately. I've been trying to gt all of the endings. It's farely new though because I got the triogy like last year. Kazuyas ending is different. In the other ttt he was in his purple suit and he was laughing or something and in my version he fights Jin and Jin transforms.

honor and skill! You waited until ur oppenent attacked then once u saw an opening
u went in and did the best combo u can do, n yes they had juggles but comeon at best u
could do like was 3-4 lousey hits ! then if u got knocked down u could roll back and recover !
it was fun, now i mean if u stay on the ground they can bounce ur ass up 4 some more

I like that Jin's fighting style has changed. Before the first thought that came to mind about Jin was "man he fights just like Kazuya". Now i dont think that. He has a better fighting style than he did before.

I'm So Mad They Took Michelle Out Of Tekken After This One They Should Have Took Julia Off And Kept Michelle Because Michelle Has Been On There Since Number One. Or They Could Of Kept Both Of Them But I Still Think Michelle Is Way Better Than Julia Even though They Practically Have The Same Fighting Style

god i think tekken tag is seriously the best fighting game of all time. i have no idea why they don't include the tag option in later incarnations of the series.

@turtleboat They'll do it again. Tekkenn Tag was essentially Tekken 1 -3. Only this time u get to play TAG. It was an awesome feature to make fights more fun

@MrDataCode I actually like Tekken 6. Its a better version of 5. Tekken 4 was really horrible speed-wise. The graphics were nice. The backgrounds were improved. But the gameplay suffered.
I really enjoy Tekken Tag as well. But I think Tekken 6 is to the new Tekken series what Tekken 3 is to the old Tekken series.
Tekken 6 is something that has to grow on you. I never played much of Tekken 5. So I may not be a fair judge on that.

@MrDataCode If they end the series it would be a HUGE blunder on their part.
After all thanks to the continuation we can now see : Street Fighter versus Tekken made a possibility.
So I don't think it hurts them at all. They realized how bad T4 was so they made T5 and T6 to improve on each step.

@Mesmereyes Well I think they should of had a 5-10 year gap. Make the Tekken fans really wait for it. Make the ultimate tekken game = more sales than 3 minor games.

I've been playing this alot lately. I've been trying to gt all of the endings. It's farely new though because I got the triogy like last year. Kazuyas ending is different. In the other ttt he was in his purple suit and he was laughing or something and in my version he fights Jin and Jin transforms.
