I think "how right you are".....what can we do about it. Is there any movement to try to stem the tide. I live in the UK. It is vitally important for the people on the bottom of the pile to be self sufficient. It is diabolical how the big companies and banks have got to control us all. I am unhappy about the lack of land available for us as individuals in the UK (England) especially to grow our own vegetables. No one is seriously encouraged to do so. I want to slam on the breaks. How?
Do to the collapsing housing market, a lackluster stock market and diving dollar, global hedge funds have had to seek other markets, and as usual that drives up prices, always has. Weather it be housing, energy, or comodities such our food.
Its "eat or be eaten" the poor have always been on the loosing side.
